Superb location, fantastic building, good breakfast, great chef, the bathroom could have a step stool (the tab wall is as tall as the Great Wall of China), shower bracket and better curtain, but I can live with that and maybe it’s normal in Prague, staff can pay more attention to guests, no kidding the tips are automatically included in the check, they don’t need to deserve them, so they definitely don’t try. Again, location, room, food, views are all stars.

We really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and very clean room every day. Our room was a bit noisy but you’re so close to the main square it’s such a perfect location. So the noise is a bit of a trade off. I wore earplugs and slept fine. I would stay again and recommend this hotel

Such a lovely place to stay and not far from the old square. We would recommend Iron Gate Hotel, very clean facilities, excellent restaurant and bar, the staff are very attentive and the food is excellent, only thing is that the breakfast wasn’t very hot but that is the only thing. We have had a wonderful time.

The room has a bathtub with the shower. The tub was very high up and very dangerous to get out by US standards. Very disappointed with the breakfast service. In order to get to the food, we had to go down a set of stairs and then carry our food and drinks upstairs. It was disappointing that the staff did not assist with drinks. The restaurant staff was not very accommodating as we wanted to use the outside sitting restaurant area to review the itinerary with the group and we were not allowed- still not quite sure why. We were told we needed to go to the bar, but there were not enough sits available for our party of 6. Lobby area is very limited and not conducive if traveling with a group. The room itself was very nice and so was most of the front desk staff. Very good location though and nice dining options very close by.
