The property and staff were excellent. Room was clean and well decorated. The one negative was the breakfast that although good, was overpriced in my opinion especially when you can get a good breakfast for much cheaper, just as good and close by. We paid almost $90CAD for two people for just one day. Also, the service was somewhat lacking. One morning we never had a server approach us with a menu so we settled for the buffet. The second morning we had to ask our server if we could order after waiting for some time.

The property is quiet and closed to a lot of restaurants and Old Towne Square. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were friendly and pleasant. We didn’t get to eat at the hotel restaurant since there was a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

A happy stay

We had two overnight stays at the hotel. We had originally paid for three nights, but due to technical issues, we had to stay at a different hotel for the first night. The way the hotel staff treated us is impeccable. They arranged transportation back and forward to the other hotel. We stayed at an executive suite and we also received breakfast and champagne in our room, as well as a room upgrade. We can highly recommend Hotel Maximilian for an overnight stay!
