Excellent hotel in excellent location. The street is noisy with trams every few minutes especially if you are on one of the first floors, but totally ok if you close the window.

Fantastic stay good value for money

Fantastic stay friendly helpful staff from the moment we arrived , came in and cleaned room fresh sheets and towels every day. Breakfast hall was clean and tidy with a wide range to eat all continental. Nice lobby to sit in and relax and the day we left was able to store luggage for us for free . Free wifi to use throughout and main tram links to get around easily .

The reception staff was very friendly. The extensive breakfast buffet also offered something for everyone. However, the room wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. The toilet took forever to flush, and there was nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom. The city center was within easy walking distance, and all public transport options were nearby.

It's an okay solution, but the simple double room is just too small.I would opt to pay a few Euros more and stay elsewhere. One socket spot, very small Bathroom.The personnel were very good and helpful.

An Alternative to Downtown Prague Prices

This is our fourth trip to Prague and our third stay at the Belvedere. We just need a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay and are not looking for frills. We think the Trade Fair Palace (huge modern art museum with VanGoghs, Monets, Kupkas, Klimpts, etc.) is wonderful and only two or three blocks away. Hotel is just across river from old town and trams 17 and 26 take you there in about 3 or 4 stops. Nice Italian restaurant, San Carlo nearby as well as the Dim Sum Spot (small but very good) are within two blocks of hotel. Italian dinner with alcohol for under $50. What a buy the whole experience is.

Good hotel

It was a good hotel. The room was big and clean. Maybe a bit overpriced but we were there during New Years so thar might be why. The beds were a bit too hard for my liking but still okay. The breakfast was decent. Nothing special.

Bar no longer available. Went to eat at restaurant and was not made to feel welcome so decided to eat elsewhere. My travelling companion accidentally broke a lamp and was charged 1500 Czech Krona. Surely the hotel has insurance.

Great hotel, get rid of bathroom sensor lights

The place is really nice! Very spacious. Clean, the staff of super friendly, gave me a great recommendation for a literally the best restaurant! The only thing I think they could improve is there is a bathroom light that turns on automatically, it’s a sensor, it’s really annoying in the middle of the night. If you have to go, pee, and then the light turns on and wakes you up so much! I told the staff about it as well and hopefully they’ll get that changed because both my son and I not to be able to go back to sleep.

good but some issues

The room was much too warm, and the air conditioning didn't work. One girl at reception thankfully was very attentive and provided me with a fan, which helped a bit (the old fella was completely unhelpful, saying 'what do you expect? it's 20 degrees outside!'). Everything else was fine - nice suite, hotel in a great location convenient for the Trade Pair Palace, Letna, and the river - and the rates were very reasonable.

Good location. Building maintenance is an issue. Motion activated bathroom light cycled on/off with almost no relation to actual motion. It would turn off while you were on the toilet or in the shower and turn on when noone was there. No switch to turn it off entirely. No water for several hours after check in due to building repairs.

nice hotel, good value, safe area with a decent sized room. only negatives where that there was no shower screen so after every shower the bathroom was flooded which was inconvenient. If im going to be picky the selection for breakfast was a little limited but otherwise it was a great stay and i would recommended it.
