Lovely property on a hill, rather secluded and quiet. Away from the noise of the city. However there was no AC in the hallways or breakfast area, very hot even early in the morning when we checked out. The hotel’s washer and dryer which we needed were not working.

I recently stayed at La Quinta in Poza Rica while visiting Veracruz. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for exploring the area and making day trips to Papantla and nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, which is especially important in the Veracruz heat. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, and check-in was quick and easy. The pool area was a nice place to relax in the evening after a day of sightseeing. The hotel felt safe, and I appreciated the secure parking and overall cleanliness of the property. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, though it could benefit from a few more hot food options. Some areas of the hotel are beginning to show their age, but everything was functional and well maintained. Overall, La Quinta Poza Rica is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel with good amenities and a convenient location. I would stay here again on a future visit to the area.

Day 1 the a/c didn’t cool down enough the room. We requested another room and we got it. They tried to charge us more money for the older kid, but we were able to get it fixed for the prepaid bill. The swimming pool is for the homeless dogs during the evening and the morning is for the guests. The place is a mess. I’m not happy at all about the hotel. Respectfully, Nora

Terrible service. Pool was quite dirty two days in a row, no serving staff bothers to offer drinks or anything in the pool area despite claiming they do. The "continental breakfast" offered is extremely limited, with food being overcooked and bland. The menu available at dinnertime is also very limited and portions are small. I requested room service to bring a bucket of ice to our room and waited an hour and a half (even called twice to check) and had to come down to get it myself from the restaurant. The room also seems to have a bad mosquito problem at night, my entire family had multiple bites every morning. They run the hotel with the bare minimum attention to service quality they need just to keep things going, but wont bother to make guests feel welcome. Would definitely not recommend.

Tiene muy buena alberca y muy rica la cama. Les falla mucho el servicio a cliente. Las amenidades muy pobres. Dejan solo una botellita de agua cuando estamos a más de 35 grados. Solo dejan un kit para preparar café, y no trae ni crema para café. Te dejan una sola botellita de shampoo acondicionador. Son detalles que podrían mejorar, porque las instalaciones están muy bien
