Vacations Close To Powerscourt House

Great location. Near both O’Connell St and Hapenny Bridge.

Wonderful place to stay for a quick trip to Dublin. The breakfast and tea were absolutely delightful.

Location was very handy for all our Dublin experiences. Room was clean however it would be nice if electric controls were labeled as I accidentally flipped the switch for the fridge unit and it was off all night. Unfortunately there was a lift outage and was not able to be repaired for 2 days. I would think you should be able to get a part to repair even though it was a weekend. Otherwise staff was outstanding in offering help when needed.

Unfortunately this hotel left a lot to be desired. The showers didn’t have hot water (just warm), but the larger problem was the spa. The dream pool was disgustingly dirty, smelly and unhygienic. When I reported this to the staff, there was 0 follow up or apology. I’d consider it a health and safety violation, and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Staff was welcoming with gracious hospitality and recommendations. Loved the charm of it.
