It was close to where we needed to be. The inside was clean. The kitchen was sufficient. The bed was good. The bathroom needs some attention. The tiles around the toilet were loose. The screen on the bathroom window was broken. The area sidewalk by the suites, etc. needed sweeping/cleaning.

The owner is friendly and accommodating. He easily rescheduled our stay after our plans changed. The rooms, although dated, were very clean and comfortable. Kudos to the cleaning staff! We were even able to watch some whale activity right from the front step of our room. I would recommend the Seaside Villa for your stay in Powell River.

Nice to have a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Some of the outdoor benches and chairs really needed to be cleaned though, so we didn’t really get to enjoy the grassy area out front.

Good location, clean and kitchen was adequate. We did find that there were limited electrical outlets and we needed a fan so charging our devices was a bit difficult. It’s tired and basic but just fine.

Very convenient location when you go down the Sunshine Coast, but also very run down- You feel like going back to the 60'es - although the TV is in fact a flat screen. The owner was very nice and serviceminded when we had a late check-in.

Very clean room. Very quiet…no a/c was not good. They had fans but some of the power outlets didn’t work. We had to kind of mcgiver the extension cord.

Tap water was sketchy (tinted brown) but bottled water cured. Everything else was spot on. For the price for a 2 bdrm suite we agreed it was a far better night than the more expensive (twice as much) place we stayed the following night.
