Beautiful location. The 27 ha botanical gardens were so lovely and interesting, and quite walkable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options. Coffee and warm milk was excellent. Beds are good, Dinner in the hotel was delicious. And there’s lots of dining options nearby

This is one of the most beautiful hotel locations we have ever stayed in. Melded with beautiful gardens and geothermal soaking pools that were open only to guests after 5 pm was magical. Our room was huge, the breakfast was amazing and we had one meal in the main restaurant and one more causal dinner at the outside bar. Both were delicious and reasonably priced with staff that were so friendly and enjoyable. We rarely plan to visit a country twice, too many places to see, but we would come back to this hotel in Furnas at some point if we could.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. The outdoor garden was absolutely stunning — beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. Truly breathtaking. What I liked less was that the rooms feel a bit old and outdated. Also, everything at the hotel is very, very expensive — even the bottle of water in the room is pricey. Nothing is complimentary or included. Thank you.

Incredibly relaxing and peaceful stay

Terra Nostra was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we felt at home and so well taken care of. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the hotel staff made us feel so special with complimentary champagne and chocolates. The restaurant and bar were delicious. The 24 hour private access to the gardens and thermal pool were our favorite part. We were so sad to leave and already can’t wait to come back.

This property was absolutely beautiful!! Being able to wander the gardens at night, restaurants on premise, beautiful art deco design, and wonderful staff, really made this place amazing. Everything was as good as we expected! Main pool was not working however we used jacuzzi. Service was excellent. Food was excellent!
