This was such a lovely place. I enjoyed my stay very much, the hosts are so welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Breakfast was so nice and I enjoyed the morning conversations.

First of all we were so pleased that when we arrived there all tired from the plane ride, the car rental at Albany Airport and the drive to Poultney we were greeted and welcomed at the door by the actual owner with a beautiful welcoming smile. They even offered to take our luggage to our room which was clean and tastefully furnished. We stayed there 5 nights and were served delicious well prepared breakfasts each day by John. I think he is really a chef in disguise if the truth was known. Well done John. We enjoyed driving through the countryside as we spent most days at Lake George, Bolton Landing, Saratoga, Glen Falls and the other surrounding areas of the Adirondak Mountainside. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts and we highly, in fact "very highly" recommend a stay at Bentley House. A home away from home.

Upon arriving the Innkeepers and owners were very hospitable and informative. They had a list of eateries for us to pick from and informed us they were all very good. They were very friendly and we conversed about our lives with each other. They were in the living room area upon our return from dinner and we again had a great time of visiting. The house was very clean and the location was absolutely perfect. Also the bed was extremely comfortable! We would highly recommend this B&B and we plan to return!
