If you’re going to see a concert by the convention center it’s literally a one minute walk! The bed was comfy, too. The staff was very nice and it didn’t matter if I spoke to them at check out or when I returned at three in the morning! I will be coming back!

We saw a show at the Convention Center and the Double Tree was the perfect next door location. Affordable, clean, beautiful hotel and lovely staff. There was also complimentary parking in the attached parking garage for guests. I would absolutely stay here again for any travel or upcoming shows in Poughkeepsie!

Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious and welcomed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was relaxing. We were very happy to know the parking garage was included and so convenient being attached to hotel. We loved the proximity to the Walkway Over The Hudson and Alex’s restaurant. We’d definitely stay here again.

I booked an overnight stay to avoid returning to NYC after midnight. I was thankful that it was possible for an early check-in. The rating of 4 stars is based on the rate charged which didn’t even include a continental breakfast yet their chocolate chip cookie is delicious, otherwise I would have probably rated it excellent instead of good.

The place is immaculate, staff rating A++ in courtesy and helpfulness. Was confused there was no place to park when I pulled up, you have to swipe your room key to get in their parking garage. So I parked in no parking, ran in and checked i, and parked in garage. Also, within 2 blocks of getting there, we saw 2 guys laying on sidewalk, I assume addicts, so that was a concern. But no issues when we walked 6 minutes to local restaurant, then later, 3 minute walk to local Opera house, with 1 pan handler on street. It was a good base point for visiting New Paultz street market, and local mountains and trails.
