Vacations Close To Pottsgrove Manor

The room was clean and nice. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. However the pool was cold like so cold you didn’t want to swim. I got this hotel bc of the pool and my son was shivering after 10 mins in there. It was so cold I couldn’t get in. I paid extra for the breakfast and the check in person didn’t give me a voucher or tell me any information about it. I asked the next day and told them I missed it that first day and didn’t get any compensation for that. The pool room was dirty, dark and old. The shuttle from the airport was convenient coming every 30 mins however on the way to the airport it filled up and we couldn’t go at the time we wanted. We had to wait a half hour. We were there before other people who rushed ahead and got on the van.

Wonderful hotel to stay for any trip. Excellent hotel management, great stuffs, clean environment, nice rooms with nice view, great restaurants in the hotel, and absolutely a great convenient location in Philly. Highly recommended!!!!

Everything was lovely the casino was great the pool area and live Karaoke unexpectedly had an amazing time just one think the hallways smelled like mildew BUT the room didn’t and was spic and span no complaints nice area top golf right across the street and close to the mall

Our first stay at a Lowes Hotel, loved that they took a historic building & transformed it while keeping the historic nature of the property. Our room was lovely, great bathroom fixtures & maintenance. The elevators were a bit slow, but they are also historic. We were in town for America / Freedom 250 not a convention as it seems is the majority of the property. We did not eat at the restaurant but took advantage of the coffee shop which was convenient, well stocked with nice staff members. We are from Arlington TX & have 2 soon 3 Lowes Hotels that we attend events at but have never stayed as they are in our hometown. They are beautiful properties so we knew Philadelphia would be the same.

Beautiful hotel, great location

Staff was very accommodating. Room was clean. I asked for extra towels and they were delivered immediately. The only problem I had and I use the term problem loosely. The parking situation was difficult to navigate. The price I was charged was different than what was posted. Signage could be a little better because it’s a busy area with one way streets. I would stay here again and I do recommend this hotel.

The room was great, location was great but the staff was impeccable. Imma gonna butcher the name but Niquiose (front desk staff member) was so so helpful. Big kudos to him for being patient, courteous and polite and going out of his way in helping us make comfortable and with check in process as we were undecided about few things.

The hotel has no real business center. What they consider a "business center" is just one printer in the busy and noisy area, right by the front door, near the luggage storage area. There was no desk, chair, nothing... The hotel misleads their guests by claiming to have a 24h business center in its amenities' description: "The Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center, located at 1301 Race St., features a 24-hour business center with free Wi-Fi, printing, and copy services. Business travelers can use 3,500 square feet of meeting space, office equipment..." I have recently stayed at another Hampton Inn, in downtown Dallas, TX and they had a very comfortable, quiet and large business center with multiple desks. When I tried to attend an important business call while my wife was taking a nap, I was told to go downstairs to the conference rooms, but their doors were all locked up and I was advised that "there is no manager now who could assist." Also, our room wasn't ready at 3pm, even though we first arrived at the hotel after 11am, so they didn't prioritize the room's cleaning knowing we arrived early, were tired, etc. and left our luggage. Moreover, the bed mattress (Room 815) was super noisy, every time someone sat on the bed or got up - it could be old or its springs are worn out. Positives: Nice bar area in the lobby, coffee/tea available in the lobby area, large size TV in the room, good location, not far from Reading Terminal Market.
