Angie, in reception, was extremely helpful and friendly. We needed to change rooms and she was very understanding and helped us quickly. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and good. We enjoyed being able to walk out on the beach. One morning we went into the water very early, prior to breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grounds. The one negative was the first night when a local establishment blasted techno music until 3am.

Nice small hotel with black sand beach with gorgeous sunset and colors. The rooms are nice and large surrounding a mini jungle with nice trees and flowers. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean.

People there are excellent! I will definitely come back here again. The A/c unit went out the last day of our stay. They try to accommodate us the newt they could. Unfortunately we’re unable to fix it but is one of those things that sometimes we have to be flexible. The hotel manager was awesome, the maintenance ce personnel great people.

Beautiful hotel with great staff and amazing bartenders. The food was very good and the drinks were even betrer. The shower in our room didn't have very warm water but it wasn't freezing so they were manageable, that was the only hiccup. Highly recommend them!

The room was ok (had a two room apartment) however there what’s a karaoke bar beside the building and it kept us awake. The pool area was great right by the sea, however the pool was not very clean.The location of the hotel was very nice due to the closeness to the sea, the sea view was magnificent. The beach was calm and not very many people was there. The breakfast was okay but missed for example cold milk or yoghurt. We tried the restaurant for one night, but it was quite expensive (as most of the restaurants are) and the portion was small. We really liked the neighbouring restaurant Hemmingway, very good food and drinks!

Room was clean and spacious! We got the 3 bed family suite. Had a weird smell, I think it was coming from the air conditioning. We ended up just leaving the sliding door open. The staff is friendly and the beach is nice! The breakfast was great, the town has restaurants and a market you can walk to for things as well. I liked this are better than tamarindo because you don’t have people haggling you to buy things 24/7, it’s more peaceful and less crowded.
