The balcony was amazingly calm. The hotel & room were extremely clean. Shower was small, but worked for one. The bed in room 4 was soo comfortable! But someone who likes a firm pillow, I could've appreciated a thicker pillow. Staff was amazing. I'd happily rebook this hotel.

We loved the view from our room from the patio ā€” outdoor space was nice for breakfast. Room was tiny. More privacy between balconies is needed we could see the neighbours on both sides through the lattice.

The view is what you pay for otherwise, itā€™s not very private, rooms are on top of each other so you have no privacy for conversations. Staff is friendly. Location is good but expect a lot of walking in Positano anywhere. Rooms are somewhat small in size but may have larger rooms available

Incredible experience and friendly staff. Room was ready prior to check in, view was amazing and they organized a private transfer to Naples. Not to mention breakfast delivered to the room each morning. When we come back, we will be staying here again for sure!

Our stay at Palazzo Talamo was exceptional. We had amazing communication with the staff before and during our stay. They provided us with instructions on the easiest way to get to the hotel (which avoids hundreds of stairs!) greatly appreciated! On our first night we asked for some recommendations for restuarants and got an extensive message with many options. We were able to try several of them and they were all excellent. The hotel is beautiful and charming, the room was adorable and better than pictured. We got a sea view and would highly recommend. We got breakfast in our room, eating on the deck with the most glorious view you have ever seen. It was a pinterest worthy backdrop. The breakfast options were vast and delicious. My mom and I are still talking about the homemade cake. I couldn't recommend this place enough and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Positano Hotel

This is a fantastic place. It has a balcony that overlooks the beach, the people are very helpful and the location is great. Couldnā€™t ask for more!

The location made it convenient to transport luggage from taxi to hotel without climbing stairs (which is not always the case in Positano). Great views from balcony. In room breakfast was a plus.

Amalfi gem!

Beautiful room with a lovely church view right in the heart of Amalfi. The staff were so friendly and amazing. Plus, the continental breakfast was truly wonderful. Couldn't recommend it more.

Our room had a beautiful view of the coastline. The staff is very helpful. Getting to the beach is a trek involving hundreds of steps but thatā€™s no different than most hotels closer to the top of Positano.

We have stayed at Talamo twice and love the location and view, convenience to walking around Positano, and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms have a small deck where we were able to sip a Spritz and watch boats come and go in the bay. Some of the rooms are quite small--recommend upgrade to the larger room. Rates are competitive for Positano.

We had a lovely vacation at Palazzo Talamo! Our room felt very spacious and had an amazing view of the water that was such a joy to wake up to every morning. The location cannot be beat either- we loved that it was super close to fun restaurants and right next to the stairs leading down to the water. The staff was excellent and helped us on many occasions to plan outings and schedule taxis and recommend restaurants. They also provide beach towels for use at the beach clubs which I found to be very helpful! We also loved the morning breakfast in the room and we were happy that we could pick what time it would be delivered. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful time in Positano and we couldnā€™t have had it without the wonderful Palazzo Talamo. Beautiful view with a balcony, breakfast options, a great TV and AC in the room, very conveniently located just enough away from the commotion by the beach to sleep in peace. If you wanted to hang around though there was Caffe Positano right outside (be patient with the staff). Lastly, you Iust need to be prepared for the early morning staff, around 0700-0730 there is a bit of noise and conversation due to breakfast prep. Otherwise, the owner and her staff were very pleasant and helped make our stay a great success. We hope to be back soon!

The hotel itself is cute and very clean and the breakfast offered was nice. The bed is probably the worst bed I have ever slept in. It was very hard and the springs were almost exposed. The shower was also not greatā€¦.it would cycle through freezing cold, scalding hot and then a normal temperature. Each cycle about 5 seconds. The location was good with restaurants near by and easy access to the shops and restaurants down near the beach.
