Beautiful hotel with great service. The walk into town and down to the pier is not for the faint of heart. However, this goes for Positano in general and is not specific to this hotel. Nice breakfast spread. Everyone is super friendly!

On the whole good. A bit tired in places which you expect in Italian hotels. Breakfast was not the greatest! Convenient location provides a good workout up and down the hill to the beach.

I loved the hotel rooms , they were spacious and clean with great views from the balcony . All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also an easy 10 minute stroll into the centre of Positano or the bus from the centre stopped right outside the hotel. On the way down the hill there were many good restaurants and shops.

Vacation in paradise!

This was our first trip to Positano. The hotel, the staff and our room was beyond expectations. There are no words to describe the view from our private balcony. I highly recommend this hotel, absolutely AMAZING!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Hotel Posa Posa. From the warm and friendly team who treated us like family members throughout our stay, to the luxurious and stunning brand new apartment we were fortunate enough to stay in, we can’t speak highly enough about this property. Well located within walking distance of the main village, with fabulous restaurants and trattorias located nearby, amazing shopping, and hotel facilities, you’ll love your time at hotel Posa Posa. The Mirage restaurant onsite also offers a delicious breakfast and was Michelin stared in 2018. It’s actually number 11 of 95 restaurants in Positano. The kind and generous team are what really make your stay so memorable. We can’t thank them enough for helping us create magical memories for our children to last a lifetime.

Lovely property with caring staff. The dining room was excelling and beds were comfortable. Super easy to get around. We went up and down hundreds of stairs and lots of town streets. But, there were lots of taxis and buses if you did not want to walk.

Loved the location as it was away from the busy beach area but still easily walk to any areas of Positano. It was a clean, old charm hotel with comfortable beds. All the staff were very helpful, to the point that they even tracked down my lost cell phone after I left it in a taxi, then had it delivered to the hotel the next morning. They didn’t have to do this but they did. They look after you and we would stay again. The view from the rooms is amazing, great place on the 4th floor terrace to have a coffee and enjoy the view.

POSA POSA was amazing! It had a beautiful view of Positano! The rooms are extremely spacious with a balcony or a patio, Had a small pool that was perfect on the hot days. The restaurant in hotel has a great breakfast and our dinner there was one of the best we had in Italy!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel osa Posa for 5 nights for our honeymoon and loved it! We had an issue with our initial hotel booking and last minute got booked at Posa Posa and we were not disappointed! They were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Our room was lovely, clean and cold (which was great considering we were travelling in the middle of the heat wave). The location of the hotel is a little higher up in Positano which we loved, we were still in walking distance from the beach and the square but we got to be a little further away from all the busy tourist areas/people. There are some amazing restaurants further up from the main square plus we had a sea view room so we had incredible views from our balcony! We had breakfast everyday on the terrace. I would very much recommend Hotel Posa Posa if you are wanting to stay in Positano!

To lead with the positives - Maria and Giulio are some of the finest hotel employees we’ve had the pleasure of working with. The location, as well, is postcard perfect, with just enough access to, and quiet from, the maelstrom of Positano crowds. Now: the negatives. Stinky. Truly stinky. The hotel is decidedly out of date by thirty years, and smells like that was the last time it has been cleaned. Our room had scuffs, bangs, and scrapes on the walls, a bathroom held together by caulk and a dream, and a TV with big aspirations of being in a junkyard. On our first night, everything was a-ok, if fairly humble, but still passable. Upon letting housekeeping in the following day, they left the window open to air out the cleaner smell… which let in the sea air. The resulting miasma was a horrible stench of mildew and rot, with damp sheets on top of that, that we were totally unable to resolve with AC, airing stuff out, the works. We request a room change, or help cleaning, and a set-upon employee came in, said nothing can be done, as the hotel was full, and then sprayed 3 spritz of air freshener and left it at that. For what you’re paying, you deserve more than damp, smelly rooms, and a glorified cold plunge (forgot to say, they totally misrepresent the size of the pool). The primary staff’s professionalism and candor can’t make up for the other mounting disappointments.

We had a terrible experience with our reservation. The first room they put us in, room 102, was dirty. The bathroom was dirty, there were mosquitoes and bugs in the ceiling, the room smelled mold, and there were stains on the floor. Then they switched us to room 204 which had similar issues. Floor was dirty, there was an almond on the floor, and worst of all, Mold in the ceiling. So we had to be moved again, this time to 204. At this point, the experience was so frustrating and we were exhausted we just stayed in the room. But it was a smaller room, no tub just a stand up shower, no sofa just chairs. Shower had mold in corners and water pressure in shower was terrible. I asked for the manager in different days of my stay but there was never one available.
