The room was a beautiful and the view from our balcony was amazing! The breakfast was delicious and really convenient. Every staff member we interacted with was so friendly and genuinely wanted to make our stay positive! The rooftop bar was also a great way to end the night with a few drinks and amazing views. The staff up there had great energy and took care of us. Would highly recommend staying here!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We were allowed to check in early, staff was friendly, breakfast delicious with lots to choose from overlooking Positano in the morning.. And the view was amazing! The roof top bar was great in the afternoon. Air conditioning worked great. The best I’ve had in Europe. It’s quite a few steps from the main road but we used the porter service to carry our luggage from the port. They charged us 30 euro for 3 bags. Right at the bottom of the steps of hotel were many delicious restaurants nearby. We felt like we were in a luxury hotel! And we will stay here again when we return. It is quite a way from the beach. If you walk the road it will take you about 20-30 mins. You can also use the steps and that will take about 15 mins but there are about 500 to walk. My husband and I are 64 and took the steps down and walked the road back.

The hotel definitely needs some updating. When we first arrived, I noticed the bathroom had a sort of stall urine/water aroma. I thought maybe the toilet just needed flushed or the bidet needed ran. It stayed that way the whole visit unfortunately despite my efforts. We kept the bathroom window open the whole time and powered through. The other issue was the ventilation for the kitchen was right outside all the Juliette balcony rooms and the Solarium. So between 3-11PM when the roof bar opened…it smelled HEAVILY of fried food outside. We didn’t sit outside much during this time because of this. The staff was kind and the breakfast was good. Our room was clean apart from the smelly bathroom.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. It was okay. The rooms are old. Bed is hard. We had a partial view room which I would not book- it’s a view of the generators unfortunately no other rooms were available. The roof top has a great view. Breakfast was good.

Great stay here!

Let's talk about the view first! Amazing! Bed was very comfortable, AC was great, staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful, and very clean. The was a small ant problem so no food in the room. Get yourself ready for the stairs from the beach to the hotel though, it was rough especially after dinner and wine. Side note Ristorante Mediterraneo is around the corner on the Hotel Street, don't miss out on that! All in all great stay and would definitely recommend.

If you don’t mind climbing stairs this is the hotel for you. The staff and service were excellent. We did make a complaint about the smell coming from the bathroom. Probably sewage smell. We had to pay $70 a day for parking not at the hotel but a public garage. Rooms are very clean because food is not allowed in the rooms.

The area was so amazing, the sea view was so inspiring, I kept the window open and enjoyed the cool breeze. And enjoyed seeing the sun rise every morning. Just a note 580 stairs to your room. So if your not in shape be ready to make a few stops along the way. But it gets easier.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, this was our first time in Positano and we absolutely loved our stay. First, the hotel was amazing with setting up our transportation to/from the napoli train station. Also very thankful to their porter for carrying our luggage at check in/out as there are a lot of steps in Positano. Highly recommend getting a room with a balcony, we could not get over how beautiful our view was. The rooms are clean, with daily room refreshing; also the included breakfast is delicious with fresh pastries every morning. The staff was great for making sure we enjoyed our stay and providing recommendations for dining, the restaurant Da Vincezno is right next to the hotel and highly recommend dining there. The hotel is also very close to the beach where you can catch a ferry to the other towns of Amalfi to explore. Overall we had an amazing experience and would stay here again

We stayed at casa Albertina for our honeymoon & it was so perfect! The best location!!! Less than 10 minute walk to the beach! & super friendly staff who helped us coordinate transport for everything! Highly recommend booking a room with a balcony it was absolutely stunning!!

You can truly taste the passion in every bite. And to Alessio, thank you for making every evening so special. Your cocktails were fantastic, but it was your friendly personality, warm smile, and genuine hospitality that made us want to come back night after night. You made the rooftop bar one of our favorite memories of Positano. Casa Albertina and LaGaria Rooftop Bar has breathtaking views, but its greatest asset is its people.
