I Love places where you can stay, eat and enjoy the locals. Checking in the Hotel staff was very nice. The gentleman that works all night cleaning was wonderful and very helpful. He also has a great voice & wonderful song in his toolbox. Very cute Bar & the Bartenders were great and very attentive nice place. Then, we went into the restaurant. Ordered a bowl of Chowder and Fish and Chips. Meanwhile I’m Waiting…. Waiting 30 minutes. No Chowder? Other patrons came in and got served and ate. I asked the waiter “Food”? Oh it’s coming… 45 minutes still no food. Waiting… 1 HOUR AND NOT EVEN A BOWL OF CHOWDER COULD HE PROVIDE ME WITH. As I got up to leave he came running with a cup of chowder. SERIOUSLY THE WORST SERVICE IN ALL OF IRELAND/NORTHERN IRELAND. Lord knows when the actual food would have arrived. So we left and went across the street to a wonderful place called Villa. The place was Packed but we were still seated. Food was served quickly and was delicious. This was the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant.Anchor -1⭐️ for your lack of service to a traveler that wanted to have a good meal and spend lots of money at your destination.
