The Hides were a perfect little private get away. The staff dropped our bags off at our Hide for us which was very helpful. The restaurant (reservation needed) was very nice, the lounge was comfortable and the drinks were excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. Lovely stay, highly recommended!
Darn near my favorite property I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing view, excellent service, wonderful and unique room and property. Only down side, we were on the top at the Storr level… we like walking but that’s a bit of a tough walk. :)
Beautiful property with wonderful views. Restaurant was great and staff super helpful and friendly. The walk up to the higher level rooms can be challenging, but definitely would stay here again.
The cabins were roomy with a beautiful view. The dinner and breakfast were delicious.
The bar, dining room and lounge were very comfortable and great to hang in.
The sauna was amazing! And loved watching the sunrise.

Everything is very well designed. The rooms are super comfortable and cosy. The lounge/lobby/bar are both beautiful and comfortable. And the food is just delicious!
Wow. Where to begin? The sleeping pods are amazing - small but perfect. The restaurant / bar area was exceptional - but the staff made the place. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. The food was amazing. We will be back!
We had the most perfect stay at the Bracken Hide hotel. The staff were amazing and super happy to help in all areas. We had recently got engaged and they gave us the best view in the restaurant with free champagne to celebrate. We had seen negative reviews about the walk from the main hotel to the rooms but they were vastly over exaggerated and we enjoyed the walk to our room. The sauna and cold plunge are a lovely touch especially given you book it so that it’s private for you. We ate at the hotel twice and the food was excellent both nights as well as the staff being lovely. The whisky bar was also beautiful and a lovely way to end the evening.
The room was beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing and the view was perfect.

Rooms were clean and loved the individual ‘huts’. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that we arrived at the resort after 7pm and they would not accommodate us for dinner. There was a couple that checked in minutes before us who had no issue. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating.
I really looked forward to staying at this unique location, but after two nights felt the “luxury” accommodations were quite overpriced. First, beware when booking that the individual cabins (hides) are located up gravel paths from the main reception, bar, and dining room. Ours was at one of the furthest points, a quarter mile from the parking up a very steep hill. A staff member will deliver your bags by golf cart, but cannot transport guests. This is not mentioned when booking. While hiking up wasn’t a problem for us, it will be for many. The hides have beautiful views from their decks, are clean, but quite small with pretty basic furniture. And only one set of towels per person. Not really luxury. The bathroom needed a fan for ventilation. Our room was not made-up during the day (proper signage was displayed) so when we returned from hiking all day we each only had a wet towel. No towels at the sauna either. The main building with bar and dining is very nicely done. Breakfast opened at 7am and was prompt and very good. Make sure to book dinner reservations before you arrive. We were shut out our first night.
Friendly staff at reception and assisting with taking luggage to room, helpful in proving list of restaurants that offered walk-in and reservation dining, room was comfy, and parking was great.
