Had to upgrade our bungalow as property for 2 had no cooking facilities only a shared grill between bungalows in description said grill presumed this to be in property , we then had a family bungalow which was nice and facilities good , but unfortunately we had lots of young children crying during the night and early morning

The pictures don’t do the hotel justice. The rooms were big and clean, the pool was one of the best I’ve seen and the beach chairs etc were super comfortable.

La Margherita was a perfectly decent place to stay, but I left feeling it was a little overpriced for what it offers, although I appreciate that’s probably to be expected in July.
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and everything worked as it should. The rooms and facilities are fairly basic and a little dated, so I’d say it’s a solid three-star hotel at best.
The location is convenient for exploring Alghero, and if you’re simply looking for a clean, comfortable base, it does the job. Just don’t expect a luxury experience or anything particularly memorable.
