My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. We truly can’t say enough good things about them. The hotel itself is unique, full of charm and character, and made for a memorable experience. The location is fantastic: right in the heart of everything, yet surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional as well. We would happily stay here again!

The location of the hotel was very central. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The quality and choices at breakfast were truly outstanding, except that it can take a long time to get served. Give yourself at least an hour so as to not be rushed. Overall a wonderful experience.

Torel 1884 is located perfectly to explore all of historic Porto. Within short walks of main sites, close to river for accessing the south side of Douro. Many lovely restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. Hotel itself is lovely. We stayed in the apartments and benefited from having a sitting room as well. Very comfortable and well equipped. Hotel staff are all friendly, welcoming and warm. We enjoyed the breakfasts too, good choice and excellent service. Highly recommend.
