The location is what makes the hotel excellent. You can walk to the majority of destinations around the city. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful in offering recomendations while visiting the city. I didn't try the breakfast because we were always gone before breakfast started.

The hotel was exceptionally well located, very clean, and we slept comfortably during our stay. The reception staff were very helpful in providing suggestions and offering further information and services. The extra little touches like cookies were really appreciated. We will happily stay at The Editory House the next time we are in Porto.

The buffet breakfast was convenient as it was available for the early risers. Most restaurants in the area do not open till later (some at 10:00am). There was a good variey of pastries, fruits, meats, cheese, juice, tea, coffee and eggs, and omelets upon request. Also the price per person is comparable to other resstaurants but difference is all-you-can-eat versus ala carte pricing. We were overall satisfied with the choices and staff was willing to assist with requests.

Amazing location and friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast as you can ask for à la carte (hot) plate. My only complaint is that a maintenance staff entered the room without prior notification. I did check with front desk to make sure he worked there. Not cool!

The staff truly are one of the highlights of this hotel. So helpful, including, taking the time to sit down during a welcome drink and treat to go over the area, provide restaurant suggestions, tours, etc. We can’t thank the staff enough for all of their support. Our room was very comfy, with wonderful amenities and the perfect place to stay when in Porto. We hope to return to Porto and we will certainly stay here again!

Made to feel very welcome with port on arrival , staff helpful with advice on places to visit , really central position in Porto. There may be nicer higher star hotels but this one proves importance of location . So I will be back to Porto and will definitely be staying in the Editory

Great location that puts you in the center of activity. It's is a small hotel, which was fine. Rooms clean. No early check-in at all. After a 13 hrs flight and the need to brush our teeth and to wash up, we were directed to a small dirty bathroom in the restaurant next door in the basement. Staff weren't overly friendly. Again, clean and good location .

Very clean hotel. The welcome drink and pastry along with the parting gift were very nice touches. Receptionists were quite helpful. My only very minor complaint would be that check in was at 3 and I arrived at 2, but I had to wait until 3 to get into my room. Which is understandable considering I was aware check in is at 3, but after 24 hours of travel I was really hoping my room would be ready for me.
