Brilliant stay for our few days in Porto. The location is ideal to everywhere you want to visit, the staff are so helpful and the rooms were spotless. It hit 40 degrees while we were there and our in-room AC kept us very cool too. We’ll definitely stay again!

Very clean and lovely well presented room in great location. Room very well air conditioned Hotel bar was not great (self service bar and mostly empty). So if you wanted a quick drink , best going to your room or another bar. A little noisy at night being because of location, but not the hotels fault! Staff were helpful 👍

This hotel, and my stay in it, felt like a dream the whole time. The location is phenomenal - incredibly central to everywhere a tourist would like to visit. The hotel is exquisite - the decor and ambiance was so beautiful, including the lovely scent infused throughout the building. My room was so charming, quiet and comfortable. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and we were provided one memory foam style pillow and one soft one per guest (4 total for a Queen bed). Breakfast was good, served in a charming and quiet dining area. Last but certainly not least, the front desk staff are the best I've ever come across anywhere in the world. Paolo and a lady colleague completing the check in/out were remarkable and made such a difference to an already wonderful stay - they were warm, friendly, polite, helpful and very thoughtful. I am already planning my next trip to Porto so I can stay at this amazing hotel again.

Great location and lovely hotel. Very quiet and everyone is friendly. Would have liked somewhere to lie by the pool and enjoy the sunshine but otherwise perfect.

Loved this hotel! The rooms are incredibly quiet. Even with a large crowd of people outside on the street watching the FIFA game, our room was still very quiet. Beds were comfortable. We also loved the circus themed room.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. We enjoyed our one night, quiet and peaceful. Only thing, my reservation said I was supposed to receive a bottle of wine for being a VIP client of Expedia but we never received it…

Excellent stay, lovely hotel in a great location. Pool was really nice as was the morning breakfast. The only reason for not giving it a 5 was the bar. There was a restaurant but it wasn’t really a place where you could sit and have a beer

The location is excellent. On the corner of Burberry store. Close to cafes and touristic spots. Staff at the desk are doing everything to help u. Young and dynamic at the front desk. The only thing i d change is the strong perfume u smell at all times in the lobby.

Summary: Solid location, odd theming, sub par breakfast. The good • Excellent base for exploring Porto, everything within walking distance • Good choice of restaurants and bars on the doorstep • Comfortable rooms, but small • Small pool, but a nice spot to cool off • Shower pressure great The bad • Odd, slightly unsettling clown/circus theme in the bar and pool areas, maybe it’s a thing but it was a surprise when we walked around • Breakfast fell well short of 5-star standard, noticeably behind other hotels we’ve stayed at recently Overall: Good for location and comfort, let down by an odd aesthetic choice in the bar and restaurant/communal spaces and a breakfast that doesn’t match the star rating.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and again did not disappoint. From the pre-arrival messages, to the easy check in with a pastel de nata, and the calming atmosphere in the reception area, first impressions were impeccable as usual. My room was spacious with a great sized closet, bathroom with large walk in shower and a comfy bed. They also left a small bottle of port and a bottle of water, as well as having tea / coffee facilities. The location is great for getting around Porto, plus close to both Sao Bento train station as well as Aliados and Trinidade metro stops. It’s great location wise for solo female travellers (noting that Porto is generally really safe), with 24hr reception staff too. I’ll definitely be back and stay again when next in Porto.
