It’s simple but clean and the bed was very good. There is no air conditioning but we had a fan in our room and it was possible to sleep well although it was very warm outside. The host who welcomed us was a very nice lady who made us feel very welcomed. Recommend this place specifically if it is your intention to spend most of the time out in the city.

No a/c. Literally dribbles of water comes out for shower. No place to put luggage except on floor. No help like towels or toilette paper in building; must go outside and down street to get them. No elevator for bringing suitcases up and down on hot day.

Noisy room. No wifi in the room!! No lift to get to the 3rd floor. Not possible to swap and get a room in a lower floor! The 3rd stairs so narrow to descend, is very dangerous when you are carrying a piece of luggage, for an eldely person. Will never recommend the hotel to anyone.

Estavam nos esperando. Gentis. Fica bem no centro. Fácil locomoção para passeios. Fácil acesso ao metrô para aeroporto (estaçãoBolhão), desce dentro do aeroporto. 2 passagens (para 2 pessoas) mais o cartão, 5,20 euros. Se for de táxi, acaba saindo muito caro, devido distância do aeroporto. O hotel fica perto do ponto hop on hop of. Perto do funiculare para ir à Ribeira. Perto da ponte Luiz I. Muito fácil mesmo. Vala muito, apesar de ser pensão familiar em prédio antigo. Voltaria e recomendaria. Muito obrigada.

Отличный вариант для тех, кто не сидит в номере. Хорошая транспортная развязка (автобусная остановка через дорогу, до метро Sao Bento 5 мин пешком). Расположен в историческом центре. Очень приветливый персонал. Номер небольшой, но чистый (белоснежное бельё, новая чистая сантехника). Из минусов - нет холодильника (даже общего).

The people working there were so helpful and caring. When they saw I had hurt my knee, they changed our room for the 2nd and 3rd nights so I didnt have to walk up so many flights of stairs.

Hotel stinks like an ashtray in the middle of the night! We checked out early and asked for (and were given) a refund for the second night. Travelling with a friend. Carried suitcases up 23 plus 25 stairs. Noise. People smoking. Overnight staff said it was "impossible" that the reception smelled like smoke in the morning. Day shift worker claimed to be overpowered by the stench upon arriving to work.
