Staff amazing , shame about the very poor state of our mattress and pillows which need replacing. Also no sun loungers on the roof terrace unlike the hotel publicity photos. The breakfast had limited choice mainly continental with just bacon and questionable scrambled eggs . Good location for all Porto sights within 10-15 minute walk. I so much wanted to give a better review as the staff were amazing .

Das Hotel entspricht max. dem Standard eines sehr einfachen Hostels, ist aber nicht annähernd das, was man bei einem 4-Sterne Hotel erwartet. Wir mussten uns 3 verschiedene Zimmer anschauen, um überhaupt eines zu finden, was einigermaßen sauber war. Das Hotel scheint seit 16 Jahren in der Hand des Eigentümers zu sein, der wohl seit diesem Zeitpunkt nichts mehr investiert hat. Die Zimmer sind allesamt mit Teppich ausgestattet, die Bäder weisen in der Dusche Schimmel auf, die Wände sind dreckig und haben teilweise Löcher und auch das Mobiliar ist entsprechend in die Jahre gekommen. Auf Nachfrage, ob es auch renovierte oder zumindest saubere Zimmer geben würde, teilte man uns mit, dass alle Zimmer gleich aussehen und gleich ausgestattet sind und der Eigentümer wohl aber bald renovieren wolle. Dies ist aus unserer Sicht längst überfällig. Die angepriesene Rooftop-Bar des Hotels ist leider ebenfalls vollkommen ungepflegt. Die Loungemöbel sind dreckig, die Auflagen haben Stockflecken, die indirekte Beleuchtung wäre sicherlich schön, wenn sie denn funktionieren würde, der Pavillon ist rostig und aus der Verankerung gerissen, die Bar ist geschlossen und Getränke müssen im Frühstücksraum geholt werden, zudem waren Steckdosen und Kabel aus der Wand gerissen und lagen frei. Das Hotel ist leider nur dem Namen nach und auch preislich „Premium“, von uns von daher absolut keine Empfehlung.
