Great location, close to many points of interest, restaurants, shops and vibrant nightlife! Amazing view of the Douro River! Staff is helpful and kind, room was spacious and very clean. We loved everything about the Property once we got there but getting there was a nightmare. The traffic was horrible, parking was far away from the hotel so we had to drag our bags to the hotel. It was not easy to locate. Once there is was beautiful!!! The views from the hotel restaurant are fabulous.

Lovely stay

I can only give good remarks on every aspect of this hotel. For some people it might be a bit loud because you hear bustling noises from the promenade along the river in front of the hotel, but only till a certain time in the evening. You won’t regret to spend nights in this hotel.

Incredible staff! Each person on staff was friendly, helpful and wonderful. Very clean and lovely room. Great view. The area right outside our room was full of tourists and street musicians, so very active with music and people noise during the day, but after 9 or 10PM, it was very quiet. Wonderful breakfast.

Excellent place in a great location. My only complaint was difficulty finding it on a rainy day. Ubers and taxis can’t access the road in front so you have to lug your luggage a block or 2 and find the entrance in the alley. This all adds to the charm once you are settled but frustrating with luggage. Absolutely worth it for the river views and neighborhood.
