The property is in a great location, very close to a lot of sights we wanted to see. The restaurants nearby were great and easy to walk to. The room also had a great view!

Loved our stay. Mariana made us feel so welcome. Location is convenient to reach with public transit and about a 2 minute walk from the heart of the tourist area. The included breakfast was delicious and plentiful too.

Great location! Central for exploring Porto with a short walk to the Palace and bridge over the river. Lovely breakfast and great communication from Marianna. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay at Na Travessa! Mariana, Joana and the rest of the staff were very lovely and helpful on providing tips and assistance. The area is very central so it is easy to move around the city and there is much to see. The room was very clean and well equipped. The hotel has been renovated very nicely and provides a serene environment for breakfast or enjoying some wine. Would stay here again and recommend it!

Don’t stay anywhere else! Na Travessa has clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the location is ideal for the major sights. The breakfast room and the food they serve is great.

Reasons for our 5 star rating: The great view looking over the city roof tops from our balcony. The location just across from Bento train Station, very convenient. Shopping area and restaurants within walking distance. Pre arrival advice from our host Mariana with check in details and travel tips. Joanna going the extra mile to welcome us on our late arrival. Lovely property with gorgeous decor. Joanna on the front desk took super good care of us. Bed was one of the comfiest we slept in (got a 10 hour sleep). Right in the heart of old town, can’t wait to book again.

your home in Porto...

This is a lovely boutique hotel, minutes walk uphill from soa bento rain station. It is hidden in plain sight, and even the police a block away could not find it. Marianne, the owner , is wonderful, and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the bed was fabulous. We were walking distance from everything. It is very quiet at night, even though near a busy street.

I liked that this place is not a hotel and has a limited number of rooms. The hostess is the most wonderful person. She wants you to enjoy your stay and will help you anyway she can, within reason, because you should remember this is not a hotel. We will definitely be staying there again!!!

Our host, Mariana, was very welcoming, friendly and attentive and provided information on things to do in the area, even weather updates. Her staff were also lovely and helpful. The hotel itself is ideally situated for getting transport and is within easy walking distance of the river and the historic buildings. Breakfast was beautifully presented in lovely surroundings with great attention to detail. On departure Mariana had even packaged some cake to take with us! We would happily recommend this hotel.
