We had an amazing stay! Mariana was so accommodating and was very helpful during our stay. The rooms are on the smaller side but having a balcony was so great since we could see the sunset and the patio area. Location was great since we were coming in from Lisbon and had to go back so the train station is just a few minute walk. Breakfast was also so amazing and delicious.

Mariana and Joana couldn't do more for us. From the days leading up to our arrival, their communication was clear and kind and consistent. From local recommendations to help booking a taxi, both were available at all times. We instantly felt at ease. The hotel location is walkable within 10 minutes of all local landmarks, shops, restaurants. The security of the property is easy to use and secure. When we return to Porto, we will definitely be rebooking with yourselves.

Excellent hotel and host Mariana was brilliant. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and thus was one of the best. Only small (8 rooms) but lovely with brilliant breakfast and excellent location near cathedral. Ask for a rear bedroom for the best views from your balcony.

Loved our stay. Mariana made us feel so welcome. Location is convenient to reach with public transit and about a 2 minute walk from the heart of the tourist area. The included breakfast was delicious and plentiful too.

Mariana was great coordinating a last minute request by me for taxi shuttle from airport and an earlier breakfast for my Camino start. Joana was there to greet me on arrival and provide the early breakfast. Na Travessa was the perfect choice for my stay.

Mariana was amazing from beginning to end! The hotel is GORGEOUS!!! The breakfast set up was so beautifully done as well. 2 minute walk to center of town! My room was lovely and the finishes were impeccable.

We had the most wonderful stay! Mariana is a lovely host; she is so sweet to remember little details like what you like for breakfast each day. (The breakfast is amazing, by the way!) She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The little boutique hotel is so close to the historic district, easy to walk there, down to the Ribiera, so many cute restaurants and patios and alleys to explore! This is an incredible, very high quality mini-hotel. It is a short one minute walk from the Metro and very close to the major sites. The hills of Porto are overstated, but it’s not flat. The rooms reflect considerable fashion and craftsmanship. The staff is among the best I have found anywhere. Healthy, tasty breakfasts! “I’ll be back!”

Na Travesse is a very pleasant B&B-style accommodation that is managed by a helpful, welcoming owner and staff. Marianna, the owner, was a wonderful host during our stay, providing useful suggestions for restaurants and other points of interest. She encouraged us to text or email her while we were out of the inn for advice or help for our tourist activities. Na Travesse is small, but is clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent: eggs, freshly-baked pastries, juice, coffee/tea, fruit and yogurt. The inn is convenient to major tourist points of interest in Porto, as well as bus and subway stops.

Mariana and her husband renovated this property and did a PHENOMENAL job - I couldn't belive my eyes when I walked into this hotel. Modern, sleek, romantic and absolutely INSTAGRAM WORTHY! I adored the high ceilings, warm furnishings, and cozy atmosphere. The staff and Mariana herself were the kindest, most helpful people. You cannot beat the value when you consider the scrumptious breakfast spread they lay out at your table in the mornings - no buffet here! Meats, cheeses, jams, yogurts, bread baskets, croissants, and egg tarts accompany the best scrambled eggs I've had. The beds are soooo comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and incredibly clean. The garden area is tranquil and feels like you are the only vacationer in Porto. My sincerest endorsement of this unique, delightful experience and to Mariana's exceptional hospitality!

Positives: Mariana was proactive and reached out to early to share check in instructions. They had an amazing breakfast which we looked forward to every day. The hotel is conveniently located and close to many major attractions in the city. The staff was very nice and helpful. Drawbacks: The room we initially got was very small and looked on to a construction site. We could open our window because of all the dust and noise. However for a small surcharge we were upgraded to a bigger room that looked on to the city. Their luggage lift was not working while we were there. We had smaller carry ons so this didn't bother us as much, but something to consider to have bigger/heavier bags.

Staff was so helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in early and the view from our room was spectacular. The location was very convenient. This was a great find right in the heart of old Porto. We came to walk the Camino and it begins right there. The staff is incredible. Mariana went out of her way to make sure everything was just right.
