The location is excellent and from, here you can walk to all of the sites. The breakfast is very nice. The free tea/coffee/cakes in the breakfast room in the afternoons is a great feature. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are stylish and modern. They are a little bit small but a good size given that you are in the middle of a famous city.

The staff here are beyond amazing, from the moment we walked into the hotel we were made welcome and felt like apart of the family. Very helpful with arranging tours and answering any questions we had. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You could have a coffee anytime day or night and a sweet to go with it! Location was perfect, walking distance to the train station and to the water front but most of all the staff made this stay the best.

Hotel location was ideal right beside the river Douro. Perfect for easy access to the bars and restaurants and boat trips. Staff were great. Fantastic hotel. Arrived at 1:45p and our rooms were ready, and Tea was served at 2p with beautiful pastries and an espresso machine. Very nice breakfast all complimentary. Very beautiful hotel on the riverfront right next to the st Francis church and walking distance to everything. I had a beautiful view of the river and villa nueva da Gaia. Breakfast was delicious with fresh yogurt, eggs, assortment of breads and pastries, jams, honey and abundant coffees and tea. The elevator was fast. The room was spacious. H oh keeping was excellent. Linesma were fresh and pristine. Bed was huge and comfortable. There is street noise as you are right on the main riverfront road. But windows are soundproof. Would definitely stay here again.
