Perfect apart from a noisy fridge, which we had to turn off at night, and the bed being a mattress on a platform. The latter was very awkward to get in and out of. Area around the hotel is very run down but transport links are excellent and close by.

This is a difficult review to write because we didn't do enough research in depth, so must assume some responsibility for our displeasure. The hotel is optimized for young hipsters or backpackers, not sixty-something folks with even minor mobility issues nor, presumably, young families. Concrete floors, no comfortable seating, comfortable beds that are unfortunately too low for ease of acces or egress, limited storage space for suitcases, trip hazards throught the room and less than complete kichenette appliances. Excellent air conditioning and a very good pool were appreciated. So, if you are young, fit, mobile and travelling light, stay here for a cool experience.

Great hotel

Very nice hotel, good swimming pool, friendly staff. Room was in need of a refrigerator, and hotel some breakfast facilities other than that it was excellent.

I loved the elegant modern design of the hotel compound, in some ways warm mid-century modern / cool retro. Concierge Isabel and Cafe manager Ruiz were wonderful. Lovely quiet ambiance.

This is a very unique property in an older part of town. A very contemporary hotel with a small lounge and food service but other options are walkable and safe. It is set up for remote workers with quiet individual spaces and small areas for socializing and networking.

Avoid foreign nomads

Great location. Ironically the other negative I have was an interaction with another member in the shared laundry. Scolded foe transferring their laundry to the dryer from the washer after 20 min of waiting for that person to return to transfer themselves. Though the setting I placed at no heat and delicate tumble, the american woman scolded me with, "You NEVER move a woman's laundry to the dryer." Other than that, peaceful, pool is cold when the air is hot, great services(cafe, podcast booths, event space, meeting rooms, workspaces, etc). €120/night is not the Old Porto, neither is Porto. If connection is of your interest, this is a great space and located near Campanha station(Bus,Metro,Train). Kitchenette and refrigerator were just enough for two people.

A friendly place but a bit outside

The hotel is a bit outside of the town but a bus stop is close by. The idea of the hotel is that it combines a hotel with rooms to work from abroad. This attracts a young audience and also the style of the hotel fits to this. The staff is rather friendly and the rooms are clean and decent. You can also enjoy the garden and a tiny pool, but most tend to use it as a base to explore Porto. One pity is that there are only a few restaurants in the neighborhood, but if you enjoy African food, there is a great place fairly close. The breakfast is decent, but don’t expect a breakfast buffet, that is a waste for a small hotel, so you have some good dishes instead. All in all we enjoyed our stay and recommend the place.

Nice place, super friendly service but location is a bit far from the sights and isn’t in a nice area. Bedding could have used a protective cover on the comforter rather than just the sheets and maybe a heavier blanket. We didn’t receive any room service and the ceiling above the bed could use a wipe down.

Front desk consists of one person that works limited hours. Had to call in to book a parking spot and couldn't get through to anyone until 8 calls later over the span of 2 days. Fyi there is just free street parking. Hotel is okay, towels smell weird. Shower has no door so water splashes everywhere. Area feels unsafe at night time.

We had a very quiet room. Air conditioning did work. Lots of fur highlights and large windows finishing of the units were really good. Front end staff were great. And very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody visiting this country.
