Amazing hotel and staff! The hotel common areas (lounge and restaurant) and the rooms were clean, beautiful and modern while still maintaining a classic/ traditional look. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, the restaurant is fabulous! Delicious menu.

This was a fabulous property for us to stay during our visit to Porto. While tucked away it provides a quiet respite during a busy trip and is close enough to restaurants and the city centre. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. I look forward to our return to this gem.

Hidden gem. Beautiful modern hotel blended perfectly with old world charm. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were clean and stylish. Loved the rooftop bar for cocktails and dessert. Breakfast buffet was perfect before heading to the airport. Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated. Our room was next to the elevator so we didn’t like the noise, but we’re only in Porto for one night so it was alright with us. We only had breakfast at the hotel and selection was just minimum. Location was great, easy to walk to all sights. We had lunch at Terreiro restaurant in ribeira and the squid was phenomenal. It was a recommendation from the staff at timbre virtudes. Overall, the hotel was great!

The hotel was beautifully situated easy to walk to pretty much every place I wanted to go in the old town. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. And the hotel and the Room were both very tastefully done and pretty. The chocolates for turndown service were exquisite. I definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a very unique location and it’s architecture is all to its own. The hotel is totally modernized. The rooftop lounge is spectacular. The front desk. Staff were incredibly professional and pleasant throughout. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is off the beaten path and a quiet location.

Hotel Timbre Virtudes is a classic, beautifully decorated with history and modern comfort. It's conveniently located, about 10 minutes walking distance to the Douro River front. The room is comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Timbre Virtudes and stay there next time in Porto.

Beautiful hotel and fantastic service. The food was great too. Just beware aware that most cars can’t drive to the front of the hotel as the road is very narrow and you have to drag (or carry) your bags 100 metres over an old cobblestone road. It adds to the experience but if you have heavy bags, it can be challenging.
