Good location near university but not in cbd. Can get to old town via train. Ok local shops and restaurants and safe area. Rooms small including “comfort rooms with balcony”- which had no outlook. Ok restaurant with buffet for dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is clean and in a good location. Parking is available for €15 per night. The noise was a major issue. We could hear a lot of noise from outside and from other rooms. Also, be careful with the minibar. You will be charged for items you consume. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Clean room. Hand shower worn out and would not stay in place. Good location with lots of options to eat and shop around. Bit of a week down to the river shore where a lot of touristy activities are. Walk down there is easier than walking back up due to down slope.

Front desk staff was very helpful and spoke English fluently, as we do not speak Portuguese. The room was tidy and clean. Comfortable mattress. Soft pillows. Location was quiet from nightlife. Walking distance to a vibrant food market with a great wine lounge. Only confusion we had was the breakfast form for room service. The charges weren’t clear, so we recommend clarifying with the front desk beforehand to avoid unplanned expenses.
