Gran Cruz is a lovely hotel well located near the river. It is quite small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was excellent with good options. Location in the city is great for seeing all of the touristy spots.

This property was really clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful. They book both a transfer from the train to the hotel and a wine tour for us. Both went smooth and were good. Had water in the room and complimentary wine. The AC was a little weak but could still feel it.

Nice location!! Very lively!! The staff is very nice and helpful especially Mr Bruno at the check-in desk! A little noise at night due to party goers late. Excellent breakfast and top rate dinner in the restaurant (must try lollipop). Will stay there again if coming back to Porto!!

Room was charming and had a fabulous view. Windows weren’t clean though. The room was supposed to be air conditioned but I had to ask for a fan because it didn’t work that well. They charge a $40 fee for a second person in the room. That is crazy. How many people, not on business, travel alone. Ubers and most cabs can not drive right to the hotel so you have to drag your bags down a steep street and then back up the street when you leave. Worst of all, you have very loud music playing right below your room every night!!! On the positive side, the staff were all lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gran Cruz. It is right down on the water with tons of delicious restaurants right outside the hotel. The bed and bedding was luxurious and the breakfast was delicious!
