The hotel is steps from the metro, very convenient to walk around the neighborhood. The hotel is also near many areas of interest so we were able to walk to many of the places. The staff were so kind and welcoming.

Great location, immediately in front of Aliados Station. Friendly hotel concierge, bar and restaurant staff. Recommendation #1: hotel room with trapezoidal layout is best suited for a couple with one king bed rather than two family members with two separate twin beds. Recommendation #2: ensure housekeeping staff can at least communicate in basic English to avoid language barrier with hotel guests.

I loved the room and the friendly staff. The room was big and lovely big shower and the thermostat was great to keep cool and comfortable in the room. The bed was big and the location was excellent to go to eat and at night to go around and hear music and sit in outdoor restaurants and cafes. Loved it!

No swimming pool as advertised

Swimming pool was not filled. We weee not advised of this. Pool was having remedial building work done as we left. Yet the water temperature was still on show ! Why ?

The hotel is well located in the Porto area and within an easy walk of many popular sites. The Metro entrance is right outside of the main entrance. We had a beautiful room on the 6th floor which had a full balcony and we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine! I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Porto!

The hotel has a perfect location and you are right in the centre of Porto where everything can be visited within walking distance and you are surrounded by many bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right for me. The price per night is not favourable and for a 5 star hotel I was a bit disappointed: - Restaurant was closed and only room service was offered - The telephone (for room service) was always busy so you couldn't order anything - For the SPA area you have to book in advance and you only have about 45 min stay per day - There was a bottle of wine in the room but no cork opener and therefore not drinkable due to the constantly busy telephone These points would be OK if the price wasn't so high.
