This is a surprise boutique hotel during our trip to Spain and Portugal. Very cozy and new and unique. We have a two connected family rooms facing the plaza. The front desk is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is restaurant style and food is best for our whole trip. Definitely will recommend

This small boutique hotel is perfectly placed, immaculate in the lobby areas, well designed very clean modern rooms and delightful friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. We had a room at the back so no view (which we knew when booking) but very quiet compared to those at the front looking out onto ribeira square, so down to personal choice. Literally steps from the beautiful Duoro river and so many excellent restaurants to choose from all within a 5 minute walk. There was an issue in many rooms with the air conditioning which noisily sprang into life every night in the small hours but the management were awaiting a visit from the air con company to attend and sort. If coming back to this beautiful area I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

Location is everything. You're close to the river, restaurants and sites. Rooms are clean, Wifi is strong, beds are comfortable and they provide all the toiletries you will need. You’re right in the thick of things, easy to walk around the area - have to go thru the restaurant to get to reception, a bit convoluted but still a cool hotel. Breakfast was great with many options to choose from, room pretty tiny but comfortable-overall, we liked the hotel, was worth the little bit of hassle to stay there - also, hotel staff can call a taxi for you and pick you up in front of the restaurant so easy to grab a taxi when you need to go somewhere
