Excellent staff especially Ludmila who referred us to Almada 331. We met the owner Fernando who was an Amazing host. We loved everything about the hotel & have referred our friends. Excellent location. Loved the sample pirt. Laundry is nearby and easy to eat while doing laundry. Trindade metro to airport is close so no need to worry abput transport.

This hotel is in middle of the city which is great if you want to walk around and eveything was easy to get to. Getting a taxi is easy or bolt like uber is very friendly. The staff is super nice and friendly the breakfast was serviced with so much care. We enjoyed that alot. But the bed is hard mattresses that was very uncomfortable for us. The room we selected was garden facing but no view of the garden that was disappointing. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights in Mid May. The location is ok, I would’ve preferred to stay near the Duoro River and Luis Bridge instead. The rooms, staff, bf everything is excellent! The location is not bad about 15 mins walk to the river area. We booked a Bolt ride a few times and it was a bit hard for the drivers to identify the location somehow got dropped a little ahead or behind at all times.

What a lovely hotel this was. The staff were all very eager to help. The breakfast was lovely and the room was wonderful. It is a bit of a walk down to the river bit it was very close to some great restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Totally lovely place to stay. Gorgeous, modern accommodations behind a deceptively unprepossessing facade. Delightfully welcoming staff, helpful and knowledgeable. One of the finest breakfasts one will ever have, with artisanal pastries and made-to order eggs. Would love to go back again!

Hidden gem in Lisbon. From the outside doesn’t look like much but inside fully renovated. Beautiful rooms, common area and breakfast space. Near the airport and sites around the town. Little bit of a walk to the waterfront but not terrible. The area around the hotel is like most areas in Lisbon - older building most under construction being renovated. Breakfast was unbelievable and staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at Canto de Luz and highly recommend it—especially for families traveling with little ones! The location is perfect: central yet on a quiet street, and we found Porto much more stroller-friendly than Lisbon. We could walk everywhere with ease. Our City Retreat suite on the ground floor was super convenient with our 17-month-old, offering plenty of space (including a long hallway for him to run around). The large pack ‘n play crib was perfect, and the floor-to-ceiling windows could be fully blacked out, making naps a breeze—for both baby and parents! Breakfast each morning was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. They even provided baby cutlery and plates, which was such a nice touch. The bright, airy dining space with large windows overlooking the terrace made for a lovely start to the day. Though we couldn’t use the heated pool due to the weather, it was a great added feature. The staff was wonderful—Susan was always available via WhatsApp, and Joanna warmly greeted us each morning. They even provided milk for our baby when we arrived late and hadn’t had time to go to the grocery store. The small details, like a towel-warming rack, easy-to-use washer/dryer, intuitive lighting, and an incredibly comfortable bed, made our stay extra special. We absolutely loved our experience at Canto de Luz and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto, especially families.

Do not let the street or door fool you, this was by far one of our favorites! The rooms are absolutely lovely, well designed, high tech, and larger than normal hotels. Staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful, breakfast was delicious and the back patio was stunning! Parking was tight and around $18.50€, but you do not need a car, everything is within walking distance or you can take an Uber. This is definitely a hidden gem, we look forward to staying here during our next visit to Porto! The only negative was the weather …we were stuck in a torrential downpour when we vacationed in late March.

Very nice hotel a little further from most areas but still walkable (chose it due to available parking). Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room was a little muggy and was too warm to use the heat (AC wasn't an option). The place could really use an ice machine- the only ice is from a refrigerator in the kitchen with minimal available each time we checked.

Wonderful place to stay, short walk into center of Porto. Rooms were clean and spacious with a fantastic shower! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, served on the covered patio or courtyard. The wine machine is also a big plus. We had a large group of 15 people. Some of the rooms open into suites that are perfect for families, with mini-kitchen and washer/dryer. Highly recommend Canto de Luz for couples, families, or groups in Porto. I would definitely return to this property.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that exceeded all of my expectations in terms of decor, amenities, and customer service. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and personal attention that made me feel like a VIP guest. One of the things that stood out about this hotel was the attention to detail in the decor. The furnishings were elegant and modern, with unique touches that gave the space a distinctive character. It was clear that the hotel had invested a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for its guests. The amenities at this hotel were also top-notch. From the luxurious bedding to the spa-quality toiletries in the bathroom, everything was designed to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I especially appreciated the little extras, like the complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge and the high-quality coffee maker in the room. But what really made this hotel stand out was the breakfasts. They were absolutely amazing - beautifully presented and expertly cooked, with a wide variety of options to choose from. This is a great property for so many reasons. The accommodations are superb. Very spacious room, very clean and well equipped. The staff is wonderful. I started making questions and asking for help a couple of months prior to our arrival and the answered them all and help us in getting reservations done. Gaia is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have to recognize Daniela, Julia and Sofia they are the soul of this property as they are the sweetest and more diligent as they raise your vacation experience to a higher level. They bend over backwards to meet your needs. There were small glitches as the wine dispensing machine ran out of one specific product, we reported it twice and it never got changed for the time being and we couldn’t enjoy the wine we wanted. Also, one of the days this same machine did got stuck and did not worked at all. Also, they arranged transportation service from airport to the property. When we arrived, the service was not there, I called and they gracefully re-arranged the service , but we ended paying double for a regular taxi (lessons learned, not a deal breaker) Other than this small details, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We highly recommend this property. We will be back and definitely will stay in Canto de Luz again and for more days!
