Beautiful hotel - well designed, uniquely set and surrounded by a picturesque garden. Very relaxing ambiance. Gym facilities are nice. Good playground for kids. Breakfast has good choices and worth the price. Rooms are clean, have good space, and are contemporary. Staff are well trained and are accommodating.. it is conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and main sites. Parking is easy and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough.

Very relaxing stay

The hotel was quiet and well decorated. The Porto wine at check in is such a great detail. Bedroom was comfortable, loved the toiletries! Had the chance to use the gym, pool and sauna and everything was in great condition being the pool of a very good size.

The hotel was lovely and in a quiet area in Gaia that was in close distance to public transport to get around Porto. The staff were always super helpful and the hotel/pool area was very well kept and clean.

This hotel is amazing for its location, gardens, facilities and rooms. We have stayed here twice now; once as a couple and once with our 3 children (6,10 and 11). The two swimming pools are beautiful, warm and clean. They are never very busy and there is no fighting for sun beds. The restaurant serves lovely food and drinks. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. There is a play park and beautiful gardens including a fenced off duck pond within the hotel grounds. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is great. 10 minutes walk to el Corte ingles and 2 metro stations (camara Gaia is the easiest station to get off at) which then only takes 5 minutes to get to central Porto. What really makes this hotel outstanding is the staff who are a credit to their occupation. Every single staff member we encountered were professional, kind and welcoming. Myself and my son had to extend our stay due to him coming down with chicken pox during our stay and we were always checked on, made to feel welcome and there was nothing too much. Thank you all, we will be back again!

Breakfast was awesome. Grand Room was spaceous, shower drain smelled periodically. Outdoor Pool was still closed. Indoor Pool was very nice, but some jets didn't work. Different Bus Stations (STCP) nearby. 8 minute walk to the Metro Station. Expedia information about City Tax which had to be paid directly at the hotel was incorrect.

My experience was far from 5-star for the following reasons: 1. There was no desk to work. 2. There was no place or shelving to place any belonging on, within the room. 3. The TV was on wheels. 4. The only chair in the room was in the room lobby. 5. There were two defaults in the bedroom, the shower head was loose and there was loose metal covering on the handle, please see below photos 6. And top it off I cut my thumb in the swimming pool on one of the jacuzzi loungers Overall the hotel was simply not up to scratch. It’s a shame as I had stayed in another Hilton Hotel (Hilton Porto Gaia) in the previous 3 days which was fantastic.

Staff extremely nice. The hotel was very nice. Away from the crowds if you’re happy to be so, we loved the pol areas. Found it all very relaxing & comfortable. Parking was expensive but a necessity here. It was great to have the option of a car as we wanted to travel.
