Bessa hotel was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The hotel was very clean and neat and the pool was a plus for the hot summer days. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every member of staff was brilliant! All very friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. We stayed to celebrate my birthday, and my Alma kindly helped my boyfriend organise a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a birthday cake waiting in our room, which made my day extra special! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting

Very cool rooms with TV in the mirror. The hotel is located very close to Bolhão Market and metro station and the main shopping street Via Caterina. The pool and spa are amazing after a busy day of sightseeing.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, and close to the market. The location was a bit on the shadier side of town, though we didn't encounter any trouble. The room was a bit too avant-garde for a family staying with an adult child -- no walls between the bedroom and bathroom (though thank goodness for the doors to the showers and toilet), and the wardrobe sat on top of the area to use the electric kettle. We liked having the gym and pool but the pool area got very dark in the evening and wasn't too inviting.
