The staff were great and the hotel was generally nice. The AC wasn't working for the first few days of our stay and the staff did relocate us to another room which was slightly cooler. The indoor pool was also nice but we had to pay 5 euros each to use it and had to purchase swimming caps for 5 euros too. Location is 45min-1 hour form Porto and that journey got a bit arduous every day. The local area around the hotel is a bit dead but there's a decent outlet mall about 15 mins away.

We love the location and the staff is really nice. The rooms were clean but the property needs a facelift. The pool was chipped and dangerous for children with missing chunks of tile and mold along the rim. Anything was old. Quite shocking considering the location. Very sad actually as it was one of our favorite hotels to visit during the summer.

My Honest opinion

Hotel was good. The hallways and rooms are very dark, additional lighting in the room and lighter wall colours would brighten up the areas and look much better. I would say the hotel needs a bit of a refresh. The rooms are spacious, we had a room with an extra bed and it had a pretty large closet. The beds although at first we thought they would be hard to sleep on, we did sleep well and in the end I would say they were good. Breakfast was the same every day, although the fresh fruit and pastries were very good. We thought that the scrambled eggs were a bit watery for our taste, but we were all able to find something to eat that we enjoyed. The pool area was nice, there is no shallow end, so make sure to bring floaties for the kids. I would say that it is approximately shoulder deep (adult 5’8) in the most shallow part. Elevators are small and can get busy (there are 4). There are 2 free parking lots (that are monitored during the day). When you arrive there isn’t much space to park near the doors to check in because they allow cars to park right near the front doors and you have to block them in if you want to unload your luggage. They should keep that area clear for checking in only. Also they allow people to park in the middle which can be an issue for people that are not the best at parking in tight spaces. Overall it was a successful trip, but I would probably go to a different hotel next time. Mostly weather related it was very windy being so close to beach

Beautiful property. Received a welcome gift to go to inside spa pool. When we arrived we were asked to pay for bathing caps and shoes. So outdated and money grab. Ruined the experience. Food was amazing but outdoor pool was cold and it was 33C.

This hotel is situated right on the beach, in a suburb of Povoa de Varzim around 10 minutes drive from the town centre. It has nice swimming pool outdoor and indoor and spa, but do not expect that staff speaks any English (apart from the Front desk staff). They are also branded as conference hotel, so do not know how ability to communicate in English could be such poorly maintained.

Great value for the money, excellent service

Cleaning service was excellent. Rooms a little dark, missing ceiling light. Pool is great and worth to visit, but remember wearing a swimming cap. Enter free is 5€ and same goes if you buy a cap. Staff at reception always helpful and managed all our expectations with a smile. Thank you.

The bathroom was not clean, it had hair on the floor from the user before me. Also, there was a shaver in the shower from the guest prior to me! Disgusting! When I checked in, the young girl in the reception hardly spoke english so it was difficult to communicate.
