Nice hotel with reasonable paid onsite parking, convenient access to downtown Portland via the Max station in front of the hotel, nice swimming pool, undersized and marginally outfitted fitness room, crazy busy light breakfast buffet (no cooked food), large rooms with nice, if soft mattresses, rooms include microwave and mini-fridge. Good free WiFi service. Overall excellent value with good comfort and amenities for downtown Portland, plus supports Portland University.

Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good with a wide variety of choices. There is plenty of onsite parking for $13 per day. The rooms need to be renovated, and the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. The soundproofing is poor—you can easily hear people talking in the hallway and in the next room.

The continental breakfast offered a bit more than other hotels that we have stayed in. The room was spacious and clean. The parking was cheaper than many of the hotels in the area. I would have given a higher rating if our hotel room had not been located on a main freeway. The noise was deafening, and we did not get much sleep. If the staff had informed us of the situation, we would have taken a different room.
