The property is older and well used, but the rooms are capacious, newly painted, with new refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Not fancy, but clean and utilitarian. Great place if you need to stay a few days but don't need high luxury. Very helpful staff.

The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay!

The room was pretty clean, but the old painted countertop and floor in the bathroom felt dirty even though they probably were as clean as everything else. There were black sheets, which make it hard to do a bug/hair check, like many people do before sleeping in a hotel bed. Didn't bother us, and the sleep was comfortable, but others may like the heads up. The staff was very friendly, although I didn't like the check-in through the tiny window I couldn't hear through. They were fantastic at meeting our needs, though, when one of the teenage boys decided he wanted to sleep on the floor and they provided two fresh blankets for him. It's not fancy but it met our needs. :)

The management was so nice to let us check in early to get ready for the wedding event. The room was cleaned early for us and was sufficient. The only negative was the room smelled of tobacco smoke really bad. Overall for the price of the room and the management being so flexible and accommodating to our needs, I would rate them a 3 1/2 out of 5.

Room was clean & spacious. Bed very comfortable. Convenient location. The main issue was that our room (102) was only separated from 101 by a hollow core door, under which light shone through and through which everything could be heard as clearly as though in the same room. Occupants of room 101 threw a party until ~2 a.m., making it completely impossible to sleep. Other than only getting about 4 1/2 hours of sleep, the room would have been fine for the price.

In all fairness, I believe this property was RECENTLY sold. The 2 rooms we visited were both unfinished. Outlets uncovered. Paint was atrocious, unprofessional. NO top sheets on beds. NO residential services. Bath mat dirty. Proximity to Oregon City was convenient. Staff we met was very friendly.
