Nice, friendly hotel and the location is excellent. It's right in the heart of Burnside. Powell books is right around the corner, Classic Collection Hats is close by too. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and a big beer garden with 20 food trucks and picnic tables.

The room doesn't look as clean and modern as in the picture - windows are a bit blurry; bathroom sinks have dark spots not cleaned; room/carpet have fragrance that is heavy as if to cover some previous old/bad smell. I was upgraded to a larger room upon arrival which was nice. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. And the shower was great. Free morning coffee as well as a nice buffet breakfast was a pleasant way to start each day. Valet service is expensive but very efficient. Note that the service fee for paying tips electronically is significant so I tried to get change at the front desk which was surprisingly unavailable.
