This is a classic Maine B&B! Wonderful owners and delicious breakfast with always two options! Fresh homemade cookies at the end of the day! Rooms were very nice with nice sized private bathroom. A wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Why do the chain hotel when you can have this experience!

Having never stayed at a B&B (we're typically hotel people), we found this place in Freeport and saw the great reviews and a (relatively) reasonable rate, so we thought we would give it a whirl. Our stay was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very welcoming, and our room was well-outfitted and had very effective A/C, which was a relief given the 90+ degree temps outside. I did notice a fair amount of deferred maintenance around the property, but none of it was in areas that really affected our experience. It is obvious that the owners are working to establish and improve the inn, so I would expect that the areas we noticed will likely be addressed in the coming months and years.

Amazing breakfast (LOVED the chive scones). The folks that run the Inn are warm and welcoming, you truly feel you are at home. The other guests must feel the same way, because everyone is always smiling and kind. The rooms are clean, had aircon or heat, a hairdryer, and comfy beds and pillows. We look forward to coming back!

This bed and breakfast was absolutely charming. The common space was well equipped with all types of entertainment, puzzles, games, tea/coffee, and a self service honor system minibar. The full breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and the hosts seem to really enjoy sharing their home. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. We will definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

Had a lovely stay at The Kendall Inn for a friends weekend. Nice sitting area on the first floor. Lovely and quiet. Wonderful breakfasts. Coffee, tea, water available all the time. Nice Inn Keepers. I'll be going back.

We loved meeting the hosts. Stephanie was gracious to let us check in early so we could change our clothes before heading to a funeral. Then Matthew served warm cookies and milk in the kitchen in the evening when we returned. We enjoyed hearing about his thru-hike in the Appalachian trail.

This was such a lovely place to stay; it’s such an adorable B and B. Truly could not have asked for more-from the morning breakfast until the homemade cookies in the evening. The owner gave us recs for places to go and things to do for the weekend we were there, and was very accommodating for my friend with food restrictions. Really had such a lovely time.
