Like the room it was large and the shower was clean and big, bed was very comfy and king size and nice floor there was nothing i disliked i was very satified being it was a motel there was no food we brought in our food e were from Seattle for the Vanport Jazz concert one night thank you!

I'd say the worst part of my stay was the staff. I had booked a room for 4 people and they stocked the room with 2 towels. (Not great and very small ones anyway). The clerk also asked for my pin number for my credit card on check in (I didn't give it to him) he seemed annoyed he had to open the office door to have me type it in myself. The room was fairly clean. Everything worked. Nothing terrible. Room wasn't cleaned over a multi day stay.

I liked the property, the room was big and very clean! What I think would improve the experience is if they had a place (maybe convert one of the rooms across from the office) into a breakfast area. Also not being able to go inside the office strain the morning to checkout interesting. Overall for a quick stay it was nice.

Our stay at the Holiday Motel was fabulous... My fiance and I have been staying at several local hotels / motels in the area because of a house fire... The Holiday Motel was the best that we stayed at in the area. It was so clean and we look for that,.... Cleanliness is number 1 on our must have list for booking a room. And the manager, Ad, is very easy to talk to and very accommodating with our needs. We were only planning on staying one night, we've been there three nights so far.... We haven't left yet.

The exterior resembled a seedy drive-in motel, especially since the area surrounding the back property was a vacant lot. The motel is conveniently located next to a TriMet bus stop and had several fast food chains across the street. At first appearance of my room, it looked clean and appointed with a bed, 2 nightstands with lamps, a desk, a wall-mounted tv, microwave, small refrigerator, a bureau, and an open closet. The bathroom was clean with a toilet, shower, a sink, and a towel rack. The towels definitely need an upgrade - they were small, thin, scratchy, and full of lint. The bed was uncomfortable, and upon closer view, I found a bug on the pillow, so I decided not to sleep under the sheets. The clerk, however, did allow me to check-in early(around 10:30am) as there was a room available. Normal check-in was 3pm, so I was grateful for his kindness. Unfortunately, for the one night that I was there, there was a street takeover at the intersection at 3am, and I was awakened to loud screeching tires that went on for 45 minutes. Many police cars, with sirens blaring, proceeded to drive up and down the intersection breaking up the takeover for the next 15 minutes. Apparently, the reason the police took so long in stopping these "car enthusiasts" was a shortage of staff! So be warned, this can be an "unsafe" area, but more likely, just bad luck and timing, so good luck!

I really enjoy it.

This place has come a long way. The newly remodeled rooms have changed this place for the better! 100% better. The family that oversees the property is doing a wonderful job keeping things clean and looking great. They're very nice, polite and very accommodating. The rooms have decent towels, and is stocked with the necessary hotel room supplies. It's reasonably priced and the room sizes are surprisingly large. Parking works for the size and room amount on the property. This place is great!

The manager can be a little rude, Scoffed at the idea of a late checkout...... The AC didn't work and I asked for a discount or some sort of refund and was completely shut down on anything helpful all the way across the board.

The cleanliness of the room was the biggest problem. It was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The man who checked us in barely spoke English so it was hard to communicate with him. And in the morning when we were loading our car he started harassing us about turning the key in even though we technically still had 3 hours before check out.

The staff was not accommodating or friendly. The door to the room had such a large crack in it, the the snow and rain were coming through it and making the floor wet with water running down the floor. The towels were stained. We stayed for 3 days with no housekeeping to take out trash or bring new towels or sheets. Toilet ran and was noisy. Heater was not consistant..it was either really hot or really cold, no in between.

Clean but not Safety Conscious

We booked late and arrived near midnight so we weren’t expected. The room was clean but freezing as there was no heat on and it took several hours to get warm. The ground was frozen as there had been snow then freezing rain so impossible to keep safe at that time of night — HOWEVER, the next morning, there should have been someone putting some sort of sand or other traction aide on the sidewalks and driveway as you could not walk out of your door. My wife fell hurting her elbow, tailbone, and back muscles slightly. The only thing that saved her from hurting herself any more was her backpack. This was at 10 am so there was plenty of time to put some kind of grit on the sidewalks earlier.

Fecal fumes and gun fun

Room had some fresh paint, floors, and shower which was a nice touch. However, the overwhelming smell of backed up septic tank made this room utterly unbearable. When I went to the front dest to inform the manager and request a fix or another room, I was smirked at, asked what I wanted for a fix, and when I said a different room that didn't smell like human feces, she simply told me that she didn't have any other rooms. Out of curiosity, I called shortly after and asked to book a room just like I was in and was told that there was availability. So, overall, real crummy room, service, and overall experience. All this for almost $100 is pretty absurd. Oh, the icing on the cake was definitely the live 9mm pistol round on the sidewalk directly in front of the office window. This was a nice touch. Add a little reckless danger to your unsanitary fecal fumes room.

Serious bedbug problems, didn't realize this till I woke up around 1am and recorded several scuttling about. The staff is sound asleep so what is a man to do? I layed my sleeping bag out on the desk and got some unbugged sleep. And now I'll have to quarantine my clothes and backpack 😓 pain in my ass, especially at 84$ a night. Motel 6 is cheaper and somehow...NO BUGS!
