The hotel is undergoing renovations, but nothing interfered with our stay. Nights were quiet, and a smaller than normal, but still adequate breakfast was available. The renovations look terrific! and the hotel owners & staff are very nice and helpful. We're looking forward to staying there again. Highly recommend.

I was not happy when I arrived and they said our room was on the second floor. I had asked specifically on the Expedia app for first floor , due to some mobility issues. The gentleman at the counter quickly found a room on the first floor. He was pleasant and very apologetic. The price was a little higher than I wanted. Hard to pay that much when you don’t use the pool, or eat the breakfast.

THE PARKING WAS TIGHT. OUR ROOM WAS NEXT TO POOL. BASEBALL TEAM WAS THERE AND THROWING BASEBALLS AGAINST THE WALL TO OUR ROOM. We had the front desk go and have the kids stop throwing the balls against the wall. The room smelled and the smell came from a bottle of cleaning the maid left in the room. The AC was off and had to have the front desk turn on the AC as it was off in the middle of the summer. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing broken or disgusting. Tired and outdated for sure. One of the vehicles on the lot looked like it had been there for years. My room was open and unlocked when I got there, so that was unnerving. But I highly appreciated the vending machine in the lobby and the fact that the fridge and microwave worked. Staff were friendly and helped. Bfast was solid. Only lasts until 9:30am but it got us out of the room quicker

We really liked the much needed remodeling that is being done, the staff was very friendly and helpful and that they are family and relatives that run the hotel. They listened to what i said about extra tongs for picking up the three different hot foods as well as coffee sticks were separately wrapped because the ones they are using are unwrapped and everyone can contaminate the others.

The staff was so super helpful. I needed some requests (emergency printing at midnight, because there is no business center) that were not typical, and they were so responsive without delay. I love staying at Holiday Inn Express, and have for years. My favorite part is actually the pancake maker :) (I told my husband over and over that I wished one, but now he's an Ex. I guess some wishes do come true.) HIE is definitely a great place to stay!
