We had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly with suggestions in the area (events, food, things to do). The room we stayed in were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Plus the amazing pool was definitely a highlight. The hotel’s historic charm combined with excellent service made our stay truly memorable. The breakfast was amazing with so many options and with the custom omelette that made it a extra special. highly recommended!

Great breakfast, room was comfortable, bed comfortable, property pretty well maintained, though showing some wear. Staff was excellent and we enjoyed the free happy hour. Only downside was that while the location was convenient for public transit and some places we wanted to visit (voodoo donuts, Chinese garden, Saturday market), the surrounding neighborhood is rough, with an abundance of homeless people and urine scented streets. Not the fault of the property obviously.

Embassy suite is the only hotel I have ever stayed at in Portland. Been staying here for decades and I did notice this time that the property is starting to look a bit dated. The free morning breakfast is fantastic, the location of the hotel is perfect but as mentioned it is beginning to look more than a bit worn. A good place to stay at but just not great.

The hotel is beautiful. A real touch of history and class from the past. Our room and common areas including the lobby, pool area and breakfast area were clean and well maintained. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast with the fresh omelette station is nice if you don’t mind waiting a bit. We would have liked more cut up fruit variety at breakfast. Parking at $60+ at the hotel seemed very high. The location is downtown. There are cheaper surrounding parking garages.

The hotel was very clean throughout. Great hot tub/pool area. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Staff were amazing! Valet included in this too! Building is nice but needs renovations. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good but buffet not kept up very well- however it was a very busy weekend. Overall a solid stay and I would return.
