Hotel is old so don’t expect it to be in the best condition, but with that said it is very nostalgic and if you like vintage as I do then this is the kind of place for you. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, in the evening they give you a free drink with snacks, 2 hot tubs and one of the only hotels with an indoor pool was the reason we chose this place, 1 king suite was way bigger than I expected and also had the pull out sofa bed, bring water before hand, $20 for a gallon is a bit expensive.. overall I would def stay here again with my family

There were issues, but I appreciate the fact that management made me whole, The lobby is quite grand, the pool huge, and the location really convenient. Breakfast is in a huge dining room and is restaurant quality, with omelette station and lots of choices.

I loved the employees! Finding parking in front of the hotel was a bit of an issue when we first arrived. We had to drive around the block until a spot opened up, but once we parked, check-in was quick and easy. Our room was nice, spacious, and clean. The location was great and close to everything downtown Portland.

Breakfast was exceptional. We especially liked the custom omelette station. Very nice evening reception with 2 free drinks and snacks. Very good location. Staff was very helpful. Only reason we did not give 5 stars was that housekeeping was very spotty. One day they didn't provide clean towels or make the bed, one time they didn't refill the coffee. All was corrected promptly when we called the front desk, however. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly with suggestions in the area (events, food, things to do). The room we stayed in were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Plus the amazing pool was definitely a highlight. The hotel’s historic charm combined with excellent service made our stay truly memorable. The breakfast was amazing with so many options and with the custom omelette that made it a extra special. highly recommended!
