“I watch a lot of hotel programmes so I'm a bit od a critic. Room was very clean and fresh. Friendly welcome and goodbye. Breakfast was nice. Great view of the hills and a short walk into the village”

“A very busy place as there are no other hotels nearby. The decor is outlandish, and the staff do their best: repeating "no worries" is the extent of staff training. Rooms are stuffy and unventilated.”

“I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

“Sehr schönes Hotel mit liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichteten Zimmern. Punktabzug gibt es für: 1. man muss beim Frühstück extra zahlen, wenn man eine „Kaffeespezialität“ wie einen Cappuccino bestellen möchte. 2. unter unserem Tisch im Zimmer lag noch Dreck vom vorherigen Gast. 3. am Abend wurden wir an der (nicht sehr vollen) Bar nicht proaktiv bedient, sondern sind nach einigen Minuten an die Bar zum bestellen gegangen. Alles eigentlich Kleinigkeiten, dennoch trübt das das sonst sehr gute...

“Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟”

“The site is nice, clean and well maintained. The food was excellent (as per my taste, but as you know... it is very subjective subject). The staff was friendly and kind. However, sorry for being picky, but the noise of a fan from a neighbor room did keep me awake for entire night. I was somehow disappointed by the advert where they were showing having bathtub in room, while actually I got just shower (yes, as you can guess, I am a big bathing person...sorry, nobody is perfect...).”
