Great little place. It was clean and quiet. Our room had access to the inside hallway as well as a door to a small deck and parking beside it. The onsite restaurant had fantastic food at great price price and very friendly staff.

Hotel is 60 years old and the rooms need to be upgraded and the bed coverings too. Our room had the outside window broken. Front desk was was only there a few hours a day, rooms were noisy, could hear the music and conversations. Friends’ room needed new carpets, bedding and bathroom. Sarah’s Restaurant was the highlight of our stay at the hotel

The property needs some TLC. We stayed 2 nights, on the second day they had roofers reshingling the roof above our room. It would have been nice to have been told that this was going to take place that day, but we weren't forewarned. The room was adequate and clean. The staff were nice.

We arrived early in the season, and a little late in the day, so we got a call about an hour before we got there to let us know a) not to rush and b) to watch out for moose on the road (we didn't see any). Debbie let us know she would leave they key on the front desk counter and we could check in at out leisure. We had booked a two bed (room) which was huge, with two beds, a couch and sitting table. The room was immaculate and the everything in its place. This is a very pleasant, clean and comfortable small inn, based in a small town. It far exceed expectations.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There is plenty of parking spaces available. The room we had was clean, but there was only a single night table and a lamp on one side of the queen bed. The second guest had nowhere to leave his/her phone, book, etc close by and had to use the ceiling lamp if he/she wanted to read before going to bed. The inn advertised that breakfast was included in the stay, but we were notified a week or two prior to the arrival date that the restaurant has a new owner and breakfast would no longer be included. The restaurant staff told us they have been preparing for taking over the business for months, so the management should have informed the customers long before so they can make informed decisions about their stay.

The staff were very friendly. We had booked a few months ago and it had included a breakfast at the time. The restaurant was sold so that no longer applied. There wasn't any rate reduction for this. The room we stayed in was very dated with stains in the carpet and a missing drawer in the cradenza. The inside window pane was also busted. There are not any interior security locks for the door. The walls are also paper this as I could hear the neighbors cell phone ring and also hear him speaking on it. It is close to the road so also road noise. All in all, I feel the rate we paid was too high for what it was. Again, the staff were very friendly and so was the owner at the restaurant. Just don't expect a newer place if you are looking to book here.
