The Swan has been a wonderful place to stay! We were welcomed warmly when we checked in, and our room was immaculate and offered a nice view of the marina. It's easy to walk from the hotel to downtown restaurants and shops. And it's great to know we're benefitting the Northwest Maritime nonprofit across the street.
Lovely property. Staff was so helpful, room was immaculate and a block away from downtown. Would definitely recommend and come back if we're in Pt Townsend again.
Such a great place to stay in Port Townsend! It’s at the end of the main shopping/restaurant street, so very convenient and NOT in the middle of the party/music/bar area…
which is GREAT! Btw. (The music/bar area) love it!!
Such a great little town! Lots to do and see! So if you stay here, you can walk steps to the action and not be IN it. It’s such great place to stay.
Very clean, very close to the action and not IN it.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Most "pet-friendly" properties are merely pet-tolerant. The staff at The Swan seem to actually enjoy having pets there.
We were in town for one night. Conveniently located at the end of the Main Street. Walkable to everything. Nice, artsy town with nice shops & galleries. We stayed in one of the “cabins”. Cozy. Everything you need. They gave us early check-in. We’d been camping for days and wanted to shower. Staff was kind and accommodating .
Our first night stay, went well, check in was easy, easy parking and check out. I wish more coffee pod flavors. Tried taking my puppy for a walk in the morning but a lot of people out and about some homeless. But just be mindful. Drove to get breakfast. Found a place close by for dinner. Our view from our room was nice view of the water, our room was cozy with the heater and our bed so comfortable. Wish the room was a bit bigger for the price. But for a night was good.
Lovely little cottage with a small front yard.
Easy walking to dock, shopping, food and Thursday night music.
We have stayed here before and will continue to when in town.
Very cute very nice cottage. There is no air conditioning however it is on the bay and the cottages have windows on both sides that create and awesome breeze and cools off perfectly.
I stayed in a stand a lone cabin. Very comfortable bed. Lovely bath. Sitting area with fireplace. Small meal prep area. Located one block off main street at the end so no thru traffic. Very quiet. Also had a hotel building with several floors. Exceptionally clean
We stayed in cabin 3 which was sweetly decorated with an electric fireplace. Staff promptly swapped our malfunctioning coffee machine for a new one. Delicious coffee! Small frig for keeping our leftovers and beverages. Bathroom door squeaked and the bathroom walls were about 7 feet high and not to the ceiling, which was unique.
Guests have free access to the gym around the corner: it’s very well equipped, plus they have showers, a jacuzzi and a sauna.
Overall a relaxing experience.
