Staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations for the area! The Location was so unique and charming! Rooms were clean! This town was absolutely amazing! Beautiful, fun, lively, plenty of things to do! Definitely one of our favorite stops on our PNW roadtrip! I highly recommend!

It was a fun stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't experience any clanking chains or ethereal beings, but it was extremely nice not to have drunken people shouting down the hallway at 1:00 in the morning. It was very peaceful and I would recommend a stay to anyone going to Port Townsend.

Charming old hotel. We stayed in the biggest room and it was very cool!! Loved the detailed ceilings. One of the bed’s was squeaky. Other than that, it was great.

The room was a two bed. It was very spacious and comfortable. Although a second chair to sit on would have been nice, just one at the desk. The front desk was seldom staffed. When there, the staff seemed disinterested and not social. This hotel needs some personality to match its grand structure and a more welcoming atmosphere.

Nice, clean room; friendly staff. The bathroom is a bit odd with only a shower and toilet; the sink is in the main room. The shampoo and soap dispensers didn’t work, so some small shampoo, conditioner and bar soap was left for us. No a/c, but the window opened and the ceiling fan was helpful to keep the room cool. There was no elevator for guests to use, so you need to be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs to your room.

Property has loads of character and we were glad we checked it out. For price point, I’d expect a bit more. Wouldn’t take much to improve such a gorgeous piece of property. Check in host was kind but next morning I got snapped at for requesting coffee at 7:05 because they don’t open until 7 (and coffee was just dirty dish water, I recommend packing your own coffee). I would love to see a new owner come in and give this property the grandness it deserves. Overall, however, our stay was still very pleasant. Enjoyed the room, the grounds, and the surrounding area very much.

Coming up to the property, is fairly easy to find. The entrance to the hotel is not super clear, maybe they can put a sign by the entrance stairs. There is a restaurant that operates next door. So if you have never been, could be a little confusing. The room was clean, the bathroom was roomy and the vintage furniture was fine. We had a great evening, even dined at the restaurant next door. The drinks were terrific no complaints. The food was good. However, the next morning as we went down to the lobby, a younger guy went to the front desk to complain that her wife found a rusty nail in her food. He even saved the food to show the lady at the front desk. He kindly asked for a refund but the front desk lady said they had no affiliation and that she couldn't do anything. I felt that she didn't even care about the complaint. As we returned to our room, our door was unlocked but not open, nothing in our luggage was missing but it was strange. It is a digital latch. I'm not certain we will stay at this property next time we visit.

We had such a fun stay at Manresa Castle. Amber Dawn at the front desk was so friendly and shared all of the castles rich history with us, along with setting us up with taxi cab and restaurant suggestions and information. Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable also.

Nice that the 2 queen bed room we stayed in actually had 2 separate rooms (with a door in between). The location was close to downtown, so convenient. It would've been nice to have a continental breakfast included. The beds & pillows were too hard, so not a comfortable sleep.

This hotel is awesome. We loved the feeling of stepping back in time. Our room was very clean and we had a wonderful view of the water and marina. There was a coffee maker and refrigerator. We enjoyed the pictures on the wall, showing the history of Port Townsend. Highly recommend staying here!

Room was clean, well stocked and big enough. Big bathroom with big bubble bath, plenty of towels and clean. Fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker were useful. Nice and warm with a good access to the garden outside, the cotage was a good choice for the weekend.
