Splurge for 3rd floor with balcony and really lovely east-facing view of the bay through sliding door. Walkable to great local restaurants away from downtown area. Quiet, access to fairly private, small, sandy beach behind hotel. Close to ferry and cheapest gas in town at Safeway and co-op for refueling needs.

I like that the property is very close to the marina entrance so you feel like you’re away from the hustle bustle of town and you are at the very edge of the water. It’s beautiful peaceful, and each room has a balcony on the waterside with two nice comfortable chairs the sunsets were magnificent and we were lucky enough to be there with a full moon. We definitely intend to use it again.

The rooms were really nice and updated despite how old the hotel is. The location is great and walking distance from several restaurants and breweries. Loved our view of the beach from our balcony, we saw a lot of ocean life while sitting on our balcony. It was also fun to be able to walk down to the beach anytime we felt like.

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Hotel is older, but rooms have been updated. Mostly quiet, the view was awesome, made the room! Enjoyed hanging on the deck and watching the boats gonin and out of the Marina. Got a bonus deer herd come across the breakwater and swim across the channel to meet up with the rest of the herd right in front of the hotel and watched some deers run down the beach, awesome! We will stay there again. The location was close to all Port Townsend has to offer.

We had a very comfortable and clean queen room on the waterside. It was so nice to open the balcony door and listen to the waves on the incoming tide. The hotel was very quiet and the staff folks who greeted us were excellent hosts. We didn't have a chance to check out the two restaurants just across the street but the motel is within easy walking distance of the Blue Moose Cafe and the Co=op grocery.

Clean and cheap, a great value. Great climate control, good hot water. Only complaint is that the sheets and pillowcases are kinda scratchy, but hey, it’s less than $100/night. I always stay here when I come to Port Townsend!
