From the moment we were greeted we felt welcome, the staff are lovely and very professional. This property has been renovated to a very high standard, I don’t think there are many properties that meet this standard. Modern, chilled and luxurious with a pool and surrounds that cannot be beaten. Simply beautiful and worth a visit. We will be back for sure. If you remember this old gem in its past , you must see this glow up !! Absolutely stunning. Many dining options are a short walk away. The natural bay is gorgeous and just a short walk. Drive 5 minutes to Shoal Bay also worth a visit for its crystal clear waters and white sands, dolphins and natural vistas are abundant.

Great location

Stayed in a King Room on the 3rd floor. Great views of the marina and the bay. Short walk to restaurants. Resort has a good cold buffet breakfast.

Could improve in some areas.

There is no reason why this hotel cannot provide a hot breakfast for guests. They have the equipment but choose not to. The quality of food provided for $15 was quite poor. Also the bed mattress was very uncomfortable on one side and needs turning or replacement. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The room was mainly comfortable & the view and pool lovely.

The hotel is on the hill and as we were on the fourth floor we had a great view of the harbour. The building is quite old but they have upgraded the beds, which were very comfy. The only issue with our King bed was that they hadn't removed the old light fitting, which now sits right where your head goes when sitting up in bed. The other issue is that we saw it offered breakfast so presumed there was a restaurant on site and hopefully room service. But in fact the top floor is used for functions. However there are plenty of restaurants in town, a 300m walk down hill, though they close at 9pm or 10pm, so if you haven't got a table booked somewhere by 8pm you might be in trouble.

From the brilliant welcome received at reception with their professional and friendly attitude, our overnight stay was amazing and deserving of five stars. The tasteful decor was wonderful and the beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep. We did not require a ‘room with a view’ yet could see the boats moored in the marina. Easily comparable with any first-class accommodation we have ever experienced.
