My stay at Anchorage Port Stephens was great. I had a family size Villa facing the harbor for my two sons and myself. King size bed with a twin size bed and a sofa. Very spacious and clean accommodations. View of the harbor were amazing. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast included with our stay was delicious. The hotel is also close to a nearby shopping center and a few minutes drive to local beaches and many attractions. I definitely recommend.

Best buffet breakfast we've experienced in a long while! Loved dining on the patio and enjoying the view and happy hour in the bar. Would definitely recommend but you will need a car because there isn't much within walking distance.

Excellent location, staff are mostly friendly especially the room cleaning staff. We had a room on the 1st floor with partial sea view. It was roomy with a nice balcony in a very quiet location. love it! The breakfast and dinner were very nice too. The only downside was the mattress was a bit too soft but once we told the hotel, they offered to turn the mattress or change to another room. We'd definitely stay there again :-)

We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at The Anchorage to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. There was a thoughtful birthday card and chocolates waiting for us in our room, which was such a lovely personal touch. We booked the Christmas in July set menu for dinner and, honestly, it was incredible. Every single dish was delicious, generous in size, and full of beautiful Christmas flavours. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The hospitality from every staff member was exceptional. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. We were especially touched by how kind and engaging they were with our children—it made our family feel so welcome throughout our stay. We also loved the afternoon mulled wine and cheese, which was the perfect cosy addition to the Christmas in July experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my husband’s birthday so special. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back in summer to experience The Anchorage in a completely different season. Highly recommend!
