This hotel provided exactly as advertised. Location let us walk to the waterfront and back which was about 20 minutes each way. The staff were super helpful and offered arrangements for a tour of the island as well as exchanging currency for us. The breakfast was fairly basic but delicious and efficient. The staff were helpfull at giving directions on how to get around. The plumbing leaked, cracked bathroom basin. The shower telephone was unvontrolable...bursts of hot water then loss of pressure. Water heater for making hot drink in unit was inplugable so had to get adapter from reception. No cup in room- get it from reception. Hallway lights did not turn on late at night very unsafe. Lobby also in full darkness. Would only allow one towel per day and no sheet change during a 3 day stay. Advertised a free breakfast but there is a charge and you must be registered the day before.

The hotel is very old and dated. It really needs a refit not very well located unless you’re going to the racecourse it’s at least 20 minute walk to town which we were advised wasn’t very safe Breakfast was just a half cooked omelette and a few pieces of fruit and a bit of baguette The staff was helpful and friendly

Would not recommend this b&b , not worth the money

Bed is too small in the room. All things in the room either did not work or was broken from tv remote , a/c , The male staff are worse and unhelpful.there is no lighting in corridor on the second floor and they will not provide or offer you water when you arrive.like they dont care at all.

Rudest hotel manager ever

The Manager of this hotel should not be in the hospitality business, he is very rude. First, he gave me a room with a filthy floor, dust everywhere, pieces of gum, long black hairs, etc., and my feet were sticking to it. I asked for another room next morning and he got very annoyed with me claiming that it was just 'paint' on the floor (a cleaning lady saw the floor and confirmed to me that the floor of the room had not be cleaned in a long time). In any case, after my original complaint, he gave me a room that the A/C did not work at all (the cleaning lady used 3 different remotes to get it to work). By now, he was furious with me, he gave me a room that stunk like mold and with no internet (or very slow) connection. He refused to give me another room and for the next week I was there he treated me horribly, no 'hello', nothing, no smile, only grunting and weird looks! I stopped dropping my key off in the morning so that I could avoid him.. I have been to over 170 countries and never met such a rude hotel manager in the 1,000 or so hotels I have visited over the last 35 years... No wonder why the hotel was alawys empty when I was there..

Too much noice from the area

We barely slept the 2 nights we had. The bed was so hard and even though we were at 5th floor we could hear everything from the road (It felt like we were sleeping next to it) Walking distance to the city centre is easy to find.

The stay was okay. The price was affordable and comfortable. The people at the desk were pleasant and helpful. The area was clean, peaceful and calm. Bus stop to city center was was a 10-15 min walk, so is the bank.
